My plant is getting a little to big and its just starting to flower what should I do?

Ok I got this plant growing and I need it to be like 1ft or 2 ft smaller i tryied to lst it kinda but its geting really really big and all the branches comming out are getting to tall and idk I think its late going into flowering because I think i see pistles but its getting colder and Im worried that it wont be done flowering b4 the first frost

there is an initial stretch right before flowering, it will stop after a week or so and the buds will set in with little to no more verticle growth. Just bend her down and tie her up!

ok thanks i did not know that cuz it has been growing alot latley and i was a lil worried that it was still vegging wit less bud production I just bent the main stalk down a little bit i just might let it go staright up so when do u think the buds will start to be showing we get about 14 hours of light now i think

when you get to 12/12. You know the plant doubles or triples in size right before it flowers. Check out the grow faq top left to get the basics.

dont cut it its too late, bend it down!

2 to 3 times bigger during flowering... only indoors when you flower from like 6 to 10 inches. Your outdoor plants wont get much bigger during flowering.
dont sweat it and dont trim it

All plants stretch and double in size at least before flowering indoors or out.

Hey buddy why would I lie? Like I've said read the grow faq and it will clear things up.

I just dont think a 5ft plant can double thats way to much it would be a small tree

Its just not a good idea to prune them once they start flowering. They waste energy trying to repair themselves=(smaller buds) and you wont have as many nodes and bud sites because they wont have enough time to grow back before they stop growing=(less buds)

Few small buds = unhappy grower

chop off the top, to how big you want it, or tie it down.
or put a wire screen over it and grad weave your plant through.

i have 4 4 foot girls growing outdoor.
how much bigger will they get?.
just started flowering last week
