I think the most quiet fans are Noctua. Amazing airflow. Silenx was as quiet as the Noctua, but Noctua is killing Silenx with AirFlow! ;)

Those are some beautiful little buds bro...dunno how much you will get this grow, but the box is awesome and with some experience behind your belt you will be able to do well with that setup.

Thanks man!! Yeah, I think I'll be lucky if I get 5 grams... but I'm pretty sure next time will be a lot better!!! I'm having a LOT more airflow now, should keep inside about 4-5 degrees above outside, maybe less... I'm testing it! ;)

Pretty simple, the holes in my wood panel are a perfect fit for the sockets I had... I'm pretty sure you could get them at Home Depot. They're like rubber made. Look at this picture:

hey where did you get your noctua fans at and how much were they?
Well... I'm from Canada, so I bought one on NCIX.COM at like 16$. But I found cheaper ones on DirectCanada.com they are like 12$. It's worth it... I'm planning on buying some more to replace all fans with NOCTUA. Don't get SilenX, they cost more and have less airflow... I think NOCTUA is the best fan around... I've made lots of research about silent fans... if you find a more quiet fan, let me know!

Because of the rubber material on the socket, there is no way it could heat up the wood to start a fire! I didn't even had to glue them, only by pressure they are super tight in the holes I made. FInally I'm using only one socket with the 42Watts... but I could be using 2 X 23 watts of different colors(6500K and 2600K)

I wouldn't use a cardboard box....it would be too flimsy to hold your lights and fans up, unless of course you had some sort of supporting frame for it.
