correct, just flush em like normal pots, the entire pot is all holes ;)

not sure if you do this or not, but my advice on watering: always water (or fert. either way, do it each and every time) until you see runoff starting to come out the bottom. this will essentially constantly flush out the plants' poop (they eat fert and poop out crap that sits in the soil) as these salts will build up and cause all kinds of issues. this should avoid the need for a mid cycle flush and keep the plants healthy and happy.

Well Im officially down to another plant. Claw leaf BB I took out. saw some small seed sacs forming but idk where the pollen could have come from. I have gone over that room religiously every day making sure nothing was going hermie on me. I made a double good job today and still found nothing which is why i was so confused to what was goin on with this stupid plant. I feel like better safe then sorry when it comes to this kind of thing so for the good of the many the one had to go. Will still be doing a flush tonight right before lights out with the rest of the plants to clear up any problems before I start giving them cha ching later next week.

Look for a dropped male flower.I had same shit happen to me and one girl grew 3 lil male sacks inder a bud and one dropped open. kinda messed my whole grow up,but I do have a few nice crosses. I can handdle a few seeds in the buds, just when they are loaded it sucks.

Ok so here we go into week 5 now. I have been keeping a really close watch out for any hermi branches and havent seen anything so I am hoping that the rest of the girls are ok at this point. I have completely removed the bubblelicious so thats off the menu as of right now. I even threw out the clone of the plant I removed from the room so as not to have to deal with it in the future. Im a better safe then sorry kinda guy.

So we will start with a shot of the entire room and go from there:

week5 roompic.jpg

I guess we can start with the BLZ plants I got from fem. seed:

week5 BLZ#3.jpgweek5 BLZ#2.jpg

next Is the Aurora indica, which look like its about a week or two behind the rest of the plants but you can see how the colas are just gonna fill in to form huge buds:

week5 AI#1.jpgweek5 AI#3.jpg

Finally my personal favorites are teh g13/haze crosses they have developed the fastest and have in my opinion the best smell to them:

week5 G13-4.jpgweek5 G13-5.jpg
lastley my favorite of the g-13's this little girl has a light lst going on her and she is just nug from top to bottom I think this is my most impressive plant:

week5 G13-2a.jpgweek5 G13-2b.jpg

only thing is the cutting i had originally taken from my plants to keep the genetics going this g-13 is one of the ones that didnt make it. I have both the other g13's but i really want this one over the other two to live. I just think its that much better of a plant.

So as usual I have ONE question to kick around for tonight.

How do you take a clone from a plant that is in full bloom and doesnt really have any extra small branches at the bottom to steal..I mean this thing got lst'd and every branch is making some serious budding.

personally i have bad success with mid-late flower cloning. instead i reveg them now after harvest, just have to leave @ 1/3-1/4 of the plant standing (with leaves and buds still intact) and move to veg. takes @ 6wks to recover enough to start cloning

loookin gooooood!

So as i said I skipped last weeks update due to being away on the east coast for the holidays.

Things are progressing nicely and swelling with some decent trich development.
I have started adding some Cha-Ching to my regular foxfarm nut regiment with a big drink of plain water in between so they have had two helping of chaching so far.

As always ill start with a complete shot of the whole room:

week6 room2.jpgweek6 room3.jpg

The Blz fem seed that i started are doing great they r catching up to the g13's in size and frostieness:

BLZ#3

week6 blz#3b.jpgweek6 blz#3d.jpgweek6 blz#3e.jpgweek6 blz#3f.jpg

Next up are the G13/Haze crosses. I absolutely love this pant. The buds are rock hard and starting to frost up nicely. It has to be one of the most resiliant strains I have seen, while other plants were turning yellow from stress or drooping between wtaerings this little tug has stood up to everything and never shown ANY sign of stress at any point.

G13#2

week6 g13#2a.jpgweek6 g13#2d.jpgweek6 g13#2e.jpgweek6 g13#2g.jpgweek6 g13#2h.jpg

G13#4

week6 g13#4b.jpgweek6 g13#4d.jpgweek6 g13#4g.jpgweek6 g13#4h.jpg

G13#5

week6 g13#5a.jpgweek6 g13#5c.jpgweek6 g13#5e.jpg

Lastly we have the Aurora Indica. Im a little confused about this strain because Im in the 6/7th week of flowering and these plants only seem like they are into their 2nd or 3rd week. I know some strains take longer to flower but this is crazy how little development there is on these two plants.

Ok so last but not least I have the question of the week which this week will deal with some yellowing on leaves.
A couple of the plants have been showing some yellow lower leaves here is a pic:

week6 Yellow leaf pic.jpg

I have done some research and I am thinking this looks like either a lack of sulfur or nitrogen. I occasionally throw a little dash of grow in with the flowering nutes to keep nitro in the mix so Im not sure which to think it is.

Hope to see some comments soon on the update and the new pics.
Happy new years to all!

nitrogen for sure.

i stopped using seperate Veg and Bloom formulas for the most part. was using just dynagrow 'foliage pro' + protekt for everything and adding PK boosters @ wk4/5 - wk8/9. most plants use a lot of N during early-mid flowering, so i found it useless to buy 2 seperate products in the long run (and a huge time waster combining/mixing/tweaking all that stuff). i'll never go back to having 20 bottles of different stuff. just need a few to do it all IMO.

Ok i kow i been slacking on my updates the last couple weeks but I am trying to stay as busy as possible keeping up with everything I have going on.
I built a veg box over the last couple days so I could take the plants i had just on a shelf in my closet out and actually clean up the grown room some.
I put a 8 light t5 in there and built it at 4'x4' so im gonna actually be able to get some veg time on plants so they arent quite so small when they start going into the flower tent.

week8 vegroom.jpgweek8 vegroom2.jpg

the plants are going into their last few days of flower I went and got a jewelers loop and checking trich cloudiness daily, I dont see much of a change yet except for one plant that I can see some starting to turn cloudy.

Here is a couple pics of the room first:

week8 roompic.jpgweek8 roompic2.jpg

this is the plant thats turning and I am thinking she has maybe through the weekend b4 she gets chopped:
week8 blz#1done.jpg

the G13's are plump as can be and Im just waiting for them to finish
week8 g13.jpgweek8 g13double.jpg

This is another BLZ that has caught up and passed the g13's which i was suprised about, the G13's started out strong but the BLZ's are finishing like a champ!

week8 blz#2.jpg

I didnt take any pictures of the Aurora indicas cause they just remain to keep lacking any quality that has impressed me. they hate being dry and wilt easily (way sooner then the other plants) they are still weeks behind the other plants in bud developement and are so leafy that the outer greenery have totally shaded the inside to a pale light green. Im thinking by the time i cut these other plants down if the aurora has done something impressive im gonna just chop them too and get them out of the room to free up some more space.

I also decided to buy a light rail which Ill get put up in the room sometime soon just to deal with the heat issues i had at he start and for electrical purposes too. (i dont know if my house can actually handle all the stuff being plugged in at once)

Well hopefully my next update will show some buds hanging!
