My old one didnt work out too well. This one should be better.
The cabinet section will open from the back and have a lock on it. the fans will also be mounted to the MDF door. I have an electrician that will help me wire up my 8 sockets and the 4 120mm fans when I get to that stage.
The thing will hopefully work right with the passive air intake. The front and sides of the box will reach the floor and it will have rolling wheels hidden there so that I can move it. The front will have a facade of three non working drawers. On top will be another 30 inches of bookshelf. This gets rid of my old grow box and my giant bookshelf. neat.
Its about halfway done right now. we still have to assemble the whole thing after the bookshelf is put together. it will be mounted to the top with dowels so that I can transport it back home. The whole things is going to be covered in oak veneer after its all together and then stained to match my desk.
