And here I thought I was a genius for setting the trays on buckets as opposed to building tables.

Dunno how DWC tables will work. Keep in mind that you can buy:

a pump, hole saw and sheet of XPS board and use them as ebb and flow tables.

There's no way you can stick the tables end to end? It would give you a 4'x12' table, and then you could add one more light and get a perfect 4'x4' square under each one.

Its not complete. I need to wrap it all in panda plastic, make it air tight and install a closed loop carbon filter just to make sure no smell gets out. I also have a HEPA filter running.

I wanted to stick with DWC due to its speed rather then ebb and flow. I been using DWC for a while and love the results. Mostly you see DWC done in buckets or Rubbermaid bins with one or a few plants. I wanted a DWC system that could hold many plants. So i went with the trays. This can be easily converted to ebb and flow if i want to later.

The 5G buckets was a no brainer. I was looking at the task of building tables and had so much other things to do in the room that it was just easy.

Not enough room to stick them end to end. Besides I wanted to try the light mover as I understand I can keep the lights closer without burning them and the distance they are traveling is minimal.
