My new grow journal with pics...purple power, bb cheese

Ok so i know i already have a journal but i wasnt getting many replies and the pics i didnt know how to resize....So now they are resized and ready and i hope for more reply's.


I have 5 purple power seeds and 5 more feminized bb cheese coming....
For vegging, i have 4 cfl's cool light at 800 lumens apiece.....60watt
1 soft white 800 lumen...60 watt also...
For flowering i have a 42 inch by 18 inch box....
Which i have two females purple power in there from another grow...
Now these big girls have exceeded what i that and had to come out of the box and in to the closet by themselves....cant believe it...
The lights in the box are two cfl's at 6200 lumens apiece....105watt
I use organicide to kill all bugs
Shultz fertilizer at 10-15-10...its idiot proof...
I have a box fan for the closet grow and temp gauges...
and i use the overhead fan for the vegging...

any comments are more than welcome...;P

I put the 5 seeds in a paper towel with water in a plastic ziploc tub...
Put a towel over it, so no light can get to it and cracked the seal a bit for ventilation...
only 4 seeds took which is ok, total out of 10 i had one bad seed and one plant die on me...

And this is after 7 days they are loving every minute of life....my little babies....;P

I know its only been two days since the last post but they are growing up so fast i cant help it.....
9 days into vegg....i did notice that one plant had a little curling due to what i think is heat from the cfl bein to close...i moved it up an inch and we will see what happens...;P

Looking excellent so far brotha. Heres some Green Mojo to get them girlys started! I will be watching closely. Good luck with ya grow DUDE!

My two girlys are growing out of control took them out of the box and into the closet and they are gettin taller....might have to raise the roof....lol
Gonna use some tiger bloom here today or tomorrow to boost blooms...My one girl took of late and didnt start flowering till almost 2 weeks after my first one....???
But she is shootin pistils....this is day 21 of flower...

lookin sweet.. i have a suggestion. i use CFLs too.. but i keep mine ALOT closer.. almost touching the tops of the plants.. i just keep a fan blowing on them to keep em cool.. the ones u have in flower look pretty stretched.. u might be able to get those lights down closer if move the plants away from each other a little and put the CFLs right even with the tops, in between the two plants..

ill be checkin in on your new grow.. im sure u picked up some usefull info on the first one.. good luck brother..

Does anyone know what my plant in the back left hand corner is doing....It looks like nute burn but i know its not...i thought i got the lights to close and burned it....I use just plaine water and after 1 week i only put 1 drop of nutes in a jug....it calls for 14 drops a gallon and i only use 1 to introduce it....the others are all fine..but this one kind of curled in and got all chrispy with a little yellowing spots...the new growth seems fine..???

Yeah the girls in flower are stretched, i use a 120 watt plant light for those...they didnt get a third leaf set till like 10 inches....lol lessoned learned my vegging babies are in much better shape....

Hey everyone new pics....girls in flower and my ones in veg...
The ones in veg. are on 11 days...gave them a bit of nutes and they shot up and out...The one is still acting all burnt, but all the others are fine...i dont really care...lol
The one in the middle is a clone of the big female i got in flower...pics of her too...
Also my big healthy female was a little slow in flower so i probably wont harvest her till 2 weeks after the other one...thats ok with me she is so healthy and branches everywhere...
The bb cheese should be here soon...cant wait..

Alright everyone i went crazy today in the closet...
My 4 small babies are 2 weeks old, i told myself i was going to start these at two weeks flowering because the other two girls you see i started at one month....yeah snap...
So all i did in the closet is make more room for the 4 young ones...they start flower tonight...
Also they were getting nute burn on two...which is weird the other two must be strong, also weird because they dont get nutes yet, except for whats in the soil...So i thought start em flowering and maybe they will be ok and start to use the nutes...???

Question two....my top cola on the big girl are almost touching the light and i cant raise it anymore...anything i can do...???

if you havent started flowering you can cut off the top cola and you will get 2 new colas that develop that will help your light problem and depending on your strain you may even get more bud those plants look super stretched though wondering how they will turn out

Yeah those are from my first grow in like 5 years...I used a plant light, and they got super stretched but thats ok...The small plants are very short and bushy and i hope to get quite a bit of bud from the femals of those...You live and you learn, my second ones are cfl grow...so nice....so nice....I will keep ya informed.
Also getting fem bb cheese soon...mmmmmmmmmm

Ok everyone...on my two very large females they are in day 28 flowering...do they look a lil skimpy for some reason...??? I know it like doubles or so in the last 3 weeks of flowering....but just wondering if it looks thin...all the other branches have little bushes like the top cola.
And my 4 small babies are only on the 4th day of flower...no sign of sex yet...I have been using bloom buster on the two females no major improvement yet....

damn u stretched the hell out of those

the one on the top left looks like an ice plant,are all of them the same strain.

Yes i know there super stretched....But its my first grow in 5 years, so im not dissatisfied at all...

As far as the strain they are from nirvana and i got purple power, it seemed like a good starter type...But as you see in these new pics of the two flowering girlys one is tall and looks like an ice plant...I agree, and the other is tall and bushy and took almost two weeks longer to start to flower...??? Also the small ones you see in the corners of the pics etc...look almost like a kush, really weird...Think i might have got a mix bag of seeds maybe...anyone got any comments on that...

And thanks DEVONWHAT, they are not the best but i do agree they are some bad tall bitches....I used miracle grow soil for the big ones...But i wouldnt suggest it, you get alot of white bugs in the soil that eat the hair like fibers of the roots...I would it suggest for a beginner, there is no better soil. Get some neem oil and it will clear up all those pesky bugs...My second grow got nute burn which is weird because my first didnt. I got new soil without any nutes, thats what you want so you can add nutes as you go...And you dont get bugs...

AND LIGHTS.....I got my lights from 1000bulbs.com they are 105watt 6200 lumens a piece cfl's....which is bad ass...You want to get ones with a medium base screw in...E-26 medium base screw in...You will see it in the details of the light.... the plants love it, though......23 bucks a piece...great price... Here are some more pics of the bad bitches...
