looks good for the most part.

that BC starter kit is full of all kinds of good stuff, but not much of it. if your closest store is 2 hrs away, you might want to pick up some more of at least the 3-part nutes. the cloning gel in that pak is only good for about 15 cuts also.

i would go with General Hydroponics ph drop kit, i like the drops WAY better than the strips. i dont think the price is too different.

whats the hothouse? never heard of it. propagator?

Over time your gonna buy alot more shit. So make your Grand Total at least double what you have. It costs alot to grow your own, whether your only growing 2 plants or 20.

Fuck the hydroton clay pellets, they're junk the pores in the pellets clog up, their dirty, no matter how much you rinse them they're still dirty.
Go with a Diatomite medium, it's cleaner and it's lasts alot longer. It's a couple bucks more, but it's well worth it.

instead of the test paprers, get the GH test drops. they'll last much longer. Mine was about $15 at my dro-store. comes with plenty of the ph the ph up and down too.

from experience I would recommend only getting a few items at a time... ive bought so much shit and then decided that i couldnt use it.. or switch from dirt to hydro so ide half to throw shit away... but if your fucking loaded like no other then go for it man..

First off thanks everyone for the input. I expect to put way more money into it than the "Grand Total", that is just the total of all the stuff I will be picking up as early as next week, I am waiting on another Eco Grower to come into stock. Next I will look into the drops for PH testing, I wanted a actual PH drops for testing, I just selected the strips because I would never run out with that amount of testing paper but if the drops work better than thats what I want. As for the cloning, I don't plan on doing any cloning because I am not very educated in growning from seed let alone growing from cutting. The Hot House is for germinating seeds, I have no knowledge of the product its self but for the price it's worth a shot. Anyone have any input on my oder control?

It sounds like ur going with hydro since the clay pellets are on the list. Whatd'ya got planned? DWC? ebb-flow? Drip? I've yet to dip into the hydro game myself, but if i were, I'd invest in a good ppm tester. The one's I've seen at my shop, good one's anyway, ran anywhere from a bit under $100, to well over that. Hydro allows much less room for mistakes as soil is more forgiving. If it's ur first time aroud, u may want to consider that. Good luck.

Next I will be looking into building my own stealth cab to look like a nightstand or something :)

The system I am going with is a drip system with a 5.7 gallon resovior, I am getting two so I can try different nutes on the each to see what works better.

Study up on nute levels and all that. Another thing about goin dro is once u put something in the res, anything, the effect is almost instant, thus the small window for mistake.

The general rule for SOIL is bnot till week 3-4. Hydro though, idk.....
do not start nutes til after the third week in hydro.

buy the ph and tds meters.
you cant tell by the calendar when you can feed your babies. you have to look at them and tell for yourself. every plant grows different just as every grower grows them different. thats like harvesting your plant @ 60 days because thats what the breeder pak says. your telling me your just gonna chop it and not use your eyes?!?

i dont start to feed my seedlings untill they have thier third set of serrated leaves. and cuttings dont get fed until they have rooted for sure. start them out at 1/4 strenght if you dont have a ppm meter(recomended, but ive grown hydro for years w/o one)

Common now slik, u make it sound at first like ur one of those guys who watches the plant and waits til the plant tells him it wants some food, then u say u do at the third set of leaves? Idk man, u do it ur way, I'll do it mine, and everyone else will do whichever they choose, but in the end, hopefully, everyone ends up with some of the best smoke they've ever had.:peace:

no, you misunderstood me. i dont think you can say 2 wks because one guys 2 wk plant can be twice as big as anothers. you shouldnt feed them untill they can handle it. and having 3 nodes is a good indication.
