That was a miss on my part regarding the CBS station. Thanks for pointing that out. I don't own a TV and really never watched TV news. My parents did though. It's getting harder to find good local news outlets.

Then if you're so concerned about getting accurate information, why are you playing into the Fix News/Sinclair creed by constantly bashing on Independent news outlets?

Most of what counterpoint publishes is OPINION, for example but since you've carefully insulated yourself from it you wouldn't know that.

One must take in anything from any specific with a healthy dose of critical thinking, even when your mum tells you she got a great deal on a pair of sneakers last week. After all, they could be Chump Orange and no one else would think that's a bargain, right?

Very little opinion found on the web is worth reading. I know you can't understand this but what you are doing with counterpunch is sleeking opinion-essays that agree with your own. Counterpunch is full of that shit. No facts, just opinions that appear to be represent the left-viewpoint but serves the right wing agenda. Propaganda works on the minds of the vulnerable that way.
