My Humble 5 Gallon Bucket Grow In High Temps.

I have only one way or location to do it as pictured. I read up on root temps and realized my plants had to be suffering so I made a desperate attempt to relieve them. I don't know what the soil temp was before my boards but today when it was 99°F the temp 3 inches down was 90°F with the boards.
The buckets were pretty warm to the touch before and are now feeling better after. I have to grow this way so I can move them into the brush when company comes.
I just thought I would post it.
They are taking 1/2 gallon a day and showing progress each day. They are in Bacto premium potting soil with 10% Walmart processed manure. I have gave them one dose of half recommended amounts of emulsion and miracle grow tomato about two weeks ago and am thinking of doing it again every two until flowering time.

Any comments will be appreciated

Get some air pots going. They are way better than any plastic bucket you can use. I got mine at planetearthhydro.com they had good prices. check them out.

Yep. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Nice plants and good luck. Someday you'll have a place where you can grow more comfortably, and you'll look back on that MacGyverism and chuckle.
