my harvest dried up, in jars :)

I think I may have dried it to fast, but hey its my first time. I'm just hoping I didn't dry to much, but I think I may be in the clear because I just burped the jars for the first time and they already seem less dry than when I put them in the jars. They felt real dry when I put them in there. I also obviously spaced it out between all the jars I had hoping to rude my risk of bud rot in case they are in fact more moist then I think they are. Oh and I know it's not much, but my bigger of the two colas I had was lost due to mold, I actually harvested a bit early because of it too. And of course my multiple samplings I couldn't resist taking Can't wait for my next harvest in about 1.5weeks (auto) The Jar on the far right is actually what is left from the bigger cola, and I'm still a little weary about smoking it. It smells no different from the rest though. Maybe that will be what I give away as samples hehe

heres my smaller cola, shrunk considerably during drying lol it feels very light too, wish I had a scale. I'm guessing it's no more than 6 grams (trying not to get my hopes up)

thank you, and yeah its pretty great I am like esctatic because I can't buy anything as good around here. I take 3 bong rips and I get right where I want to be, I am going to save SO much money now. I was spending $160 an oz on scwag weed which was all stemy and seed...

You should be ok just keep burping your jars. And so long as you got the mold your other bud should be fine.

Ya the bud looks good!!!! I think i can see a hair but it happens more often than i like to think lol Its all about trial and error. Soon you will get the technique for the perfect bud for you!!!

dude there is hair EVERYWHERE lol damn long haired cat just loved how my closet was just glowing, I couldn't seem to keep her out when I was in there doing stuff. I have spent a decent amount of timing hand picking the hair off my buds. I also inspect them once more before they go in the bong lol.

Nice harvest, but you're supposed to fill at least 7/8 of the jar with bud so they don't over-dry.

yeah, it is better to do that I found out. Also that harsh smell you will notice after a few days is wrong. Lol, wait a few weeks and you will notice that it gets to be so smooth and tasty wow.

also a pickle jar is like an ounce. digital scales are soe cheap on eBay. like 10 dollars! Fun to weigh. I had way less than what I thought! lol.

I just weighed everything and it came out to 50.7 grams. That is after me and my gf smoking alot of before hand also, but 50.7 grams is still more then I thought I would get.

Last year I cured my buds in jars just like you, and I got a little tip for you: buy an hygrometer! I got a couple on ebay for less than 5€ each from this seller in china. I put the little hygrometer inside the jar, and monitor the humidity that way. If its to wet, I keep the jar open for a while. It worked great for me, give it a try!

yeah, great idea I will be buying some soon as I get some spare cash. My truck just had its timing belt snap, which in turn made my pistons whack the shit outta my valves. Now I am car less...but only until tomorrow

But I still fantasize on buying one of those 00Box, has anyone seen them? Its like a big cedar box with the hygrometer incorporated and a thin screen that filters the littlest thrychs into a bottom drawer where one can collect the finest hash. But they're expensive as hell. More expensive than fixing your car man
