My Grow Room Design Needs Specs

I've designed an idea for my grow room on my computer. I'm planning on using DWC buckets and a home made Aero Cloner

I could use some help with the Flower Room

1. Lighting - Are 2 1000 watters too much for this space (would these generate too much heat)? Would I be better off with 2 600 watters? Any other suggestions.

2. Air - Fan suggestions
a. Intake fan?
b. Exhaust fan?
c. Light fans?

Are the walls up yet? if not I would make more use of the room on the left, that's just me though.

Two 1000watt lights would be good for that, they could handle more space than that though. 2x 600watts would also work for that space.

As far as cooling I would have an air conditioner in the room and house the lights in cool tubes and exhaust them through ducts with a 200-400CFM fan depending on how much ducting you need. With this two 1000watts would not generate too much heat.

Room exhaust depends on if you plan on CO2, if not then you only need enough air moment to provide fresh air. (and you don't even need that as long as temps are ok).

Where are you going to exhaust into?
Will you have AC?
Do you plan on CO2?

IMHO the 2 - 1000 watt lights will not allow you to reach there full potential of the grow unless they are on light movers. The side to side is fine, you know 2 lights covering 8 feet together. From the front of the room to the back may be a problem. You are trying to get a single 1000 to run the full eight feet from the front to the back. They just dont have that kind of throw for the plants the furthest away. Lots of people that run two 4x8 trays will run 4 - 600 or even 4 - 1000 if they can cool them. That would really improve the grow lighting.

I'm figuring about a 10' run from exhaust fan to my chimney.

Will you have AC?
I'm hoping I don't need it but if I have to I have a big enough window in the basement next to the room to put an a/c unit in & duct the air to the intake of the room. Thoughts?

Do you plan on CO2?
Not at the very start, but very soon & do want to plan this in the project.

Thank you for your help. +rep

I guess I'll start with 2 lights, I'm starting to lean towards 2 - 600's, and feel out the heat issue and add 2 more lights if I'm having light issues and have a way to deal with the heat.

Thanks for your input. +Rep
