So I gave them straight water and drip clean. Wanted to make sure I dont get salt build up. I saw someone say to give plants nutrients once a week? Ive been giving mine low levels 3 times a week..

I added this humic acid, and a bunch of bacterias (photosynthesis plus and Nourish-L ) from Microbe Life Hydroponics. Will this be of any help since im not organic? I have their foliar spray as well, but nervous to use it.

I need opinions.. @Hot Diggity Sog @dannyboy602 @DirtyNerd

Since I started giving nutrients, I have always watered with nutrients(about 10 times.) I water every two days now, Wednesday I gave them pure water with drip clean. House and Garden people say to feed\ feed \ feed \ feed, im nervoud of salt build up as my plants are doing great.. no burnt tips, all green only situation is only 2\5 plants have their leaves reaching up"praying to ganja gods," does thst indicate any problems? Pictures coming soon.

Reaching up to the gods is a good thing and something to strive for. If your plants are doing that and you don't see any problems then why fix what is not broken!

That said, it's all about your run-off. If you water and don't get much run-off then you're going to get build up. I like to water such that I get 30% or more of the water I'm putting in to come out as run-off. In doing this, for the most part, I can feed with every watering and never flush. My 2 cents.

Everything is going fine, hard to take pics with hps on then dark period right after.

One thing is, one afghani tips are curling a little. House and garden people say to always feed, so I do with lower mL per gallon. I use the drip clean, but still going to do pure water every other or so I think.

@a mongo frog you use HG whats your opinion?
Feed, Feed, Feed, Feed. Always use Drip after ph'ing A&B. No need to use Drip with a ph water watering.

Pix i saw looked great. I think u got this.
Ive never used any of the nutes ur using. I mixed a fertile medium initially and it was always enough for the 8 week run. Occasionally some MG. But thats just me.
Find what works for you and stick with it. Hit me up anytime.
ill check back.

Damn that's pretty scary.........I once had about 6 fire fighters walk through my house in the middle of the night because my neighbor had a house fire and they wanted to make sure everything was straight. I was planning my escape out the house and everything......thank christ they didn't ask to go to the basement. Lol

I think you're all good though, I wouldn't worry about it......I bet they attributed anything they smelled to the grinder and/or anything you were smoking on.

Thanks for your time man. I was straight drunk, so it was easy to act cool. I know the one cop, and it bothers me he just walked in. I had my nutrient bottles around whdre the grinder was, hopefully they didn't. They didnt say anything, hope its all good.

Damn bro I am sending positive vibes your way. Be safe.

Tell that girlfriend to chill the fuck out too, that could have caused both of you to go away for a while depending on where you live.

Dude your on the right track, everything looks killer!

I like to feed/water/feed/water, i use botanicare. Some people say feed/feed/feed with botanicare too but I like to give a plain water in-between so they are forced to finish up what nutes are left in the soil. But your stuff looks great man, if its working for you go for it. Just be careful of salt build up as the weeks go on.

As for ph, if your ph is in the right range naturally, don't mess with it. Mine comes out of the tap around 8.8 so i have to bring it down. You want to be in the 6.2-6.8 range for soil. i keep mine around 6.4-6.6.

I have to say this is one of the best first time grows i have seen.

I just read the whole thread start to finish so I'm going to comment on a few things from way back...
PPM definitely matters in soil, I start off around 300 and work my way to 1500-1900 depending on how they are taking it. The scale on my meter is ec X 700.
I wouldn't add peroxide to your soil.
As far as spaying goes, don't unless you absolutely have to. Like if you have an infestation. Definitely don't spray in flower after you start to see buds. If you must spray I use amamax. It will knock down any bug in your garden and has never done harm to any plants i have used it on. 99% of the time I spray is on outdoor plants because it is a lot easier to get a bug problem outside. Last year I had a good year and didn't have to spray at all.

Coco is a great substrate, its a little more involved than soil, but not by much. You definitely want to have you ph and ppm in line when using it. There are no nutrients in coco so you have to add nutes from the start. I do a 66% coco/ 33% perlite mix.

I do the same with my soil, 66% ocean forest/ 33% perlite

Thanks man, Im on here every night researching so I hope it looks pretty good. Did you mean azamax, or amamax is its own item?
I havnt been checking the ph, thats only cuz it was always on but Ill start writing it down again. I always get good runoff, do you dispose of runoff or let it wick back up?

Going to take a quick picture,

I have 3 gallon smart pots, with little plastic runoff catchers. I cant really move my plants around without hitting them on eachother (idk how stressful that is so I dont move them much) so I either suck the water out with something or let it wick up but that seems to defeat the purpose IMO.

All I do, is feed plants every two days (they droop some by then) and now going to stick a pure water in there ever other or so. Ive been defoliating slowly, was told to go up like 1\3 of plant I havnt gone that far though. I was letting them stretch a little, now Im going to tie them down some when I feed tonight.

I just want to be proactive to ensure this hsrvest actually goes to the end. If you had a moment to go through the nutrients and routines I use, Id very much appreciate it.

House and Garden
Soil A + B (10 mL each)
Drip Clean. 4 mL
Roots Excelurator 1.1mL
Top Booster (Might not use that, knowledgeable HG user said so)

Dyna-Gro Protekt 1.2 mL
Calimagic (only use it when needed, havnt in 4 feeds now. I use 3/4 tap, 1/4 bottled)

I need Blackstrap Molasses all I have is golden.
I also add Microbe Life Hydroponics Photosynthesis Plus here and there. I guess its kind of alot of stuff..

I do
