My grow journal Mango kush and Cherry AK-47

This thread will document my second grow with my new setup. The first one was a complete disaster and I got powdery mildew on all my plants due to poor ventilation and had to cut everything in the 5th week to salvage what I could. So, I invested a little more in my grow room with another inline fan and some oscillators too. I am using a 4X4 tent from Growlab. I have a 600 MH for vegging and I use and HPS to flower. I have 2 6inch Vortex inlines, one is hooked up to my window to bring in fresh air, and one on the top to suck out hot air. This grow is also the first time I started cloning, so they appeared a little sickly at first because I was new to the whole thing. They came around after a while though.

The Cherry AK-47's I had were much older than the Manogs, so I wanted to top them and give the Mango's a chance to catch up. I topped the Cherry's and cut all the bottom leaves off the Mango's to focus more on the top growth. This worked great, by the end they were the same height. Here are some pics when they were about 3 weeks into veg with the MH. They look much healthier than the previous pics due to improved feeding schedule. I had though they got too many nuts. but it was the opposite, they were starving. It can be hard to tell the difference because the symptoms are pretty similar.

Once I flipped them into flowering, I didn't do much to them except feed them once every 3 days with Fox Farm nuts at half strength. During weeks 4-6 I also used Ooze by Bloom, it really makes a difference in the amount of tricomes you can see on the buds. They got very top heavy in the last few weeks, so I had to tie most of them up with bamboo sticks.

I was shocked by how good the bud turned out. All my friends couldn't believe that I grew this stuff, it was absolutely amazing and all that hard work and time paid off. From 6 plants, I got about 5 ounces, not bad considering I probably stunted the Cherry-ak and Strawberry kush by not giving them food for a while. This is some of the highest quality I have blazed. The taste and scent are very strong and fruity. Overall, this grow went exactly to plan with no problems at all. I hope this can guide the new guys in the right direction, I know I did a lot of research before I could get anything good. Here are some pics of the final product dried and cured.
