My Grow Cab Specs

I built a new cab from lowes for $90, I Plan on doing the plants full life in this cab. The dimensions are: 70-1/2"H x 23-3/4"W x 16-1/2"D. I purchased a 150 Watt HPS: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120370905860 and four 48" T-12s to provide more of the blue range of light. I might possibly add 4 more on the same wall. I mounted them vertically to reduce the distance factor for lumens. I plan on growing 3-4 Plants upward of 4 feet. For exhaust I plan on using 2 120mm CPU Fans placed on opposite ends of the cab. The entire cab is light proof and i plan on buying a pad lock to keep out any chance of problems.

Could some pro's with experience with 150W HPS give me some feedback on keeping them cool? (glad mine has a external ballast!)

Are the 4~8 T-12s going to be a waste of cash/energy?

Everyone feel free to comment, I want to brainstorm on this cab and possibly improve things I have not considered.

In the pics ignore the CFL's hanging, picture another possible 2 T-12s in between the 2 visible.
:Peace:

naw dude! It wouldn't be a waste of money. The more lighting te better. When building a cab, its all about creating a comfortable environment for your plants inside of your environment. The main things you need to worry about are maintaining temps and light leaks and you should be straight. I'm a "Cab in a Closet" guy myself. I need to drill more holes for passive intake after running temperature tests on my 400w HPS, and my cab is smaller than yours. I'm here for you homie cause I see a lot of people in our position. We got an idea but we run into those road blocks. I'm thinking about running some 2 foot tubes in my cab as well. Good Luck!

I have a couple of cabinet grows that aren't as high as yours. You really need that height you have to use the hps, I think. I think the heat they generate is too much in a smaller space. I appreciate seeing the set up as I was really considering that too, just not much room in my little apartment. I was wondering, where did you get those double light fixtures. I need to add some more cfls to my cabinets. I didn't see anything like them at Lowe's or Home Depot.
