Hi RIU crew!! Figured someone might b able to help I did a little bit of searching but there is a lot of info!!! I know a higher CBD/CBN and lower thc will help with arthritis but my grandma doesn't wanna be "super high" cause she don't smoke ;)!! Soo do these strains still have high psycho active effects or not as bad as say 15% and up?? Also I know hemp oil has a good level of CBD and CBN with low thc but will this act as a pain killer or arthritis I wouldn't think so but I'm no doctor! I figured the high affect would contribute vastly to the painkilling feature/medicinal features Rolf mmj! Any thoughts would be much appreciated as this is my nana and I don't want her in pain!! She smoke once a few months ago and he while body went from a tensed up 80+ year old body to a much more relaxed body(shoulders not all raised up and fingers not stiff), but as I said she doesn't like
beig really stones haha?? Any thoughts ??

I would advise topical coco butter cannabis crème.

A topical does work well for arthritis. You can also mix an extract with vaseline, works well.
hemp is worthless, has a high ratio of cbd to thc but in very small quantities. Cbd is what you want CBN will just make her tired and stoned. Best would beto find a high cbd clone or look at Cbd Crew Genetics. She should be able to handle the cbd crew strains... no paranoia effect at all but slightly psychoactive depends on the phenotype... Good luck

I have arthritis in my lower back but wanted to stay very active so went with sativa or sativa hybrid strains. Many say indica strains are better for pain
but I avoided as they can give you couchlock (big body stoned feeling).
Whatever strain you pick you may want to have her try a vaporizer. There are some very cheap ones and it avoids 95% of the harsh chemical in smoked weed.

I have bad arthritis as a side effect of chemo and though the chemo is done, my knee joints are in constant pain and to a lesser extent the joints in my hands.. I am going to try a sativa (growing as I write), but may try growing a hybrid as well and then decide which works better. I am only going to use it when I can relax, like in the evening or when I go fishing. What do Y'all think? I chose Sativa because back in my growing and smoking youth 25 years ago ( I grew a lot indoors and outdoors) I preferred Sativas over Indicas all the time except for a Hawiian cross that was about 1/2 and 1/2 that was REALLY good so I want something that is familiar. I wouldn't even consider using cannabis again except that the doctors solutions so far have been unacceptable.
