Thanks for stopping by my first personal indoor grow. I have put together my grow space by using mostly information found on this site. MANY Thanks go to Hobbes, Roseman and the other posters who take time to put great information out there.

Since I started this whole thing last month and only kept mental notes, im going to dump some pictures on here today to kinda show you what im working with.

As this is my first grow, i welcome comments suggestions and questions in my thread.

Here is what we are working with:

Grow Space Size:
56" L x 71" W x 96 " H

Lighting:
600w MH/HPS E-ballast x2
400w MH/HPS E-Ballast x1

Ventilation:
420+CFM Fan x1

Pulls air from connecting room, passes through the lights, and exausts into another room.

A/C has been introduced to the room, and is piped down to plant level via ducting.

Nutrients and Soil:

Technofolora Recipe for Success (see attached pic for clarification) - Plants fed on a Nute/Water/Nute/Water/Water schedule

Fox Farms Light Warrior for seed starting. (great advice, i have more roots than plant)

Transplanted to - Fox Farms Ocean Forest Mixed with Peat and Perlite as well as an organic jungle forest soil. About equal parts per container.
(i just winged the soil mix thing, all of them together created a very light airy medium that retains some water.)

This is all complimented with CO2 enrichment.

I just recently built a bubble bucket, of which i shall include pictures below. I think i'll move over to hydroponics for cloning, vegging, and flowering.

I'm currently vegging in the "flowering closet" since this is my first run. I will need to build a vegging area, hopefully that can hold mothers, little clones, and vegging plants. I think I'm going to do a cabinet design. But i'm not sure yet. I'm going to build it or the area as i go i guess.

I have purchased genetics from these sites with no problems:

www.bcseeds.com
www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk
www.worldwide-marijuana-seeds.com

Whats in the oven you say?

Greenhouse:
Lemon Haze

DNA Genetics:
Rocklock
Chocolope

BCSeeds.com:
Bluetooth
Galaxy God Bud

Auto Flowers:
Blue Himilayan diesel
Afghan Kush Ryder

Here go the pics from the start. Most the Girls and boys are about 1 month old now, with different germ dates.

Here is the bubble bucket i'm working on. I see alot of growers using a pump to get water upto the roots and into the net pots. But, I have read where other growers simply maintain a water level an inch or less below the net pots untill roots develop and reach lower.

So here are some updates, The Rocklock chocolope, Blut tooth, and GGB are about 7 weeks old and growing well. The Auto Strains, Afghan Kush Ryder, and Blue Himalayan Diesel are 5 weeks old.

I have been using Veg nutes on the auto's but will switch over to Blooms nutes now. They girls are tanning under 1600watts of HID.

Update:

A NYC Diesel, FLO, and Kali mist Popped - germed on the 23'rd. And, are now a few inches tall bearing 4 leaves.

The AK Ryders and Blue Diesel are really aromatic at this point, the exhaust room has a very dank smell. I have engaged the problem by setting my Ozone generator on a timer in the exhaust room.

This guy runs for 15 mins every hour. If I wanted complete odor control this thing could do it no problem. I just don't like the smell of ozone as much as i do the perfume the ladies are wearing, so don't run it to long. today i picked up some new air filters for the house, and found some scented air freshener thingy for them. between those two - I have not been able to notice the odor through out the house.

Bored update w/ pics:

Re-arranged the plants. Put the BT, GGB, RL, and CL against the wall, and put the shorter autos in the center for maximum light absorption.

These auto's are quick and fun to grow watch. I can't wait to order some more, and make my own feminized auto seeds.

I'm now a huge fan of autos! If i didnt already have my own personal seed bank, i might just grow all auto's :P

holy shit man thats alot of light. talk about a closet grow lol I tried what you were talking about with leaving the water level about an inch under the bottom of the netpods and it worked great. I got the idea form my mother's Earth Box. look it up! basic principle of what we're talking about. The roots grew down and were just soaking in the water. i didnt have to water it ever and it was perfect for about a month. then i started noticing my leaves turning yellow and brown, some of which were dying. i tried everything man...ph test, epson salt to boost the zinc and magnesium, adding nutrients etc. I finally put it in straight soil and it recovered from it. I dont know if it was root rot or what but just be careful. Im glad i caught it when i did.

Good luck man! take a look at my grow. shes doin alot better now that i got her in soil.

I wanted to create multiple light source points for better production. I could fit and cool one more 400 watt in there. for a total of 2000watts. And, be sure to create a signature with your grow journal so people can click on it!

wow! i cant wait to see those HBDs... im pretty excited to grow those!
Right on, for week 6 i'll be sure and single some of those out on the photo shoot update for ya.

Here is a picture update of the auto's and vegging plants. I have noticed some of my lower leaves appear to be nute burnt from pouring nutrient water over them... oops.

Here some pics of the auto's and the vegging others.

I've been mixing my Technoflora nutrients (B.C. Boost, B.C. Grow. Thrive Alive, Magical, Sugar daddy) by the gallon. I don't quite use both gallon of nutrient. How long will this keep? Can i use it the following day or even the day after?

just two thoughts...one if there is no air running in the water ..the roots will drownd...second if there is any way you can straighten out that mylar so it is flatter that will do you alot better....looks good though!

look like my 3gallon pots are filling up with roots. When wattering i noticed most buckets now have roots coming out of the center drain hole. im not sure if I should repot these guys or what.

The lemon haze was also showing roots in it's 2 gallon pot, so i went ahead and moved it to a 3 gallon.

DJ short - Flo x1
Seriouse Seeds. Kali mst x1
NYC Diesel x1

all non feminized, have all been moved over to 3 gallon pots today. They were looking a little stretchy from ebing under the CFL so I buried them utpto their first set of leaves almost, and place them under 1600 watts of vegging power. I doubt i'll see much more stretching from them now ;p

Edit: The auto flowers are looking GANJAMAZING!!Frosty with thrichomes and smelling dank!!
