I had the sam problem with my seeds. Got 5 White Rhino seeds useing the paper towel method. They showed roots in like 6 day but as soon as i put them in my RW cube they did not more from that point on. I must have done the same thing, but what?

I put all 5 seeds back in the paper towel to see if they take off agian. I also order more seeds too. I hope i receive them by next week.

I had sum luck in soil but they grow so slow. Watering was easy but the groth rate was so slow. In the end it turn into a male. 6 weeks down the drain.

Hope u get ur seeds back in order cuz i wanted to see how they turn out.

I did the same thing my first go around. Started with the RW method but none survied doing it this way. So i moved to soil and it work the first time i planted. I guess it was the Fox Farm Ocean Forrest soil. That stuff works great if u like soil. But i want to grow in RW/Fytocell the AL B. Fucted way. And i dont want to waist 6 weeks of electricty again.

If i where u i wood give the soil achance till u get more seeds. I will keep dropping in to see how u turn the out.

Good Luck

I know man... I've seen it... I just couldn't resist giving you shit... sorry... no offense meant... Just trying to be funny...:eyesmoke:

And the medium I use is open cell foam... from pillows... $4 at wal mart...

I am also starting to experiment with closed cell foam... once the roots reach the water (DWC)... since an absorbent material leads to stem rot sometimes...

Best of luck...

hey iloveit.you should think about coco-coir,it is not a soil it is made from coconut husks and you can use it to grow in just like hydro the explosive growth you get is amazing,it is a great medium as it has nothing in it but what you give it nutrient wise,it has awesome power to uptake water and also hold oxygen and would be great to hold your mother plant,i feed mine every 6 hours for 15 mins.just as an example i have 2 plants at the moment and my 2 AK47 plants have gone thru over 250 ltrs of food in just under 3 weeks i dont know if hydro would even do that.:peace:

So this time Im germinating "Sour Diesel IBL" instead of the "Blueberry" many people were saying that bluberry is a challenging grow lets see the difference.

As usual germinating in my heated prop  & Ill keep you guys/girls posted with wats'a pics (when/if anything happens).

By the way Ive changed the avatar because a few members were complaining about seizures, this avatar should be easy on the eyes LOL.

hey iluvit try coco coir its easy and no bullshit because it has nothing in it as far as nutes it only has in it what you put in it,are you still haveing problems with germing and sprouting of your plants.

https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/122840-multi-strain-grow-journal.html

Im having problems with sprouting, they just wont sprout through the rockwool after 3 weeks, so I dig it up to find out what the problem is to find the seeds have mould growing on them. Im not over watering and the conditions are decent. So now Im trying in soil although the temp and humidity is good when I feel the soil with my finger tips it seems cold so now Im confused...and frustrated any help please.

yeah man got a small heat pad or something similar that will put out abit of heat from the bottom of the pots get rid of rockwool if you are haveing problems.outside seeds need at least 18 degrees celcious to sprout

https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/122840-multi-strain-grow-journal.html

The pot of soil is in my heated propagator with the roof on but sometimes I take it off to achieve a constant approx 24C. Ive been trying to grow blueberry (im sure these are indoor plants) do you happen to know what conditions are ideal for them?

Hi,

check this link out, by far the easiest way to start seeds/cuttings IMO. Start in paper towels till you get a taproot showing then place into one of these and in 3 days the taproot will hit the bottom. I find that within a week there are roots hitting the sides also. No feed no ph adjustments, I soak them in slightly warmed tap water distilled for 24 hours and plonk them in a propagator and I get 99.9% success with seeds and 90% with cuttings.

They fit snuggly into 3" RW cubes or can be potted on into soil, I have seen someone bypass RW altogether and put them striaght into a Wilma dripper system (clay pebbles).

Root Riot - Growth Technology

P.s. I dont work for Growth Technology  but Ive had many a falling out with rockwool :wall:
