My first "successful" grow

I have tried many times over the years to grow, indoors and out. I had some moderate success once with an outdoor grow.
Last year I decided to try an indoor with cfls on a whim. I had never heard anything about it but it worked. Only problem was, I had one plant, it went male.
I am just using bagseed, not sure what strain, just know it was some very decent MIDS. I dont save them unless it is good.
When i started I knew nothing about the different cfl's, 2700k, 6500k meant nothing to me, but now i know ALOT more, thanks to this forum. However i have SO much more to learn. I started with 5-27w cfls for 2 plants. I am pretty sure they were all 2700k. I will get 6500k for next time. I now have 5-26w cfl's and 2-68w cfls, all 2700k.
I used expert gardner soil from walmart,it was pre fertilized, but not very strong .07-.01-.03 i think. I also fed them some miracle grow for tomatoes occasionally. I went to 12/12 after about 6 weeks of veg because i am impatient, LOL. The first showed female after only 4 days, the other showed a few days later. I am now 6 weeks into flowering. I know i have some elongation, but i am getting some nice colas now that i have BETTER lighting. I feed them just water and molasses every watering, i did give them a weaker than recommended dose of miracle grow bloom blaster(10-52-10) a couple of times.
The pics arent the best, but tell me what ya think.

These first pics are the big lady, she is tall and long with lots of tops, maybe a little elongated??? Purple stems, is this a deficiency??

this is my small lady, she only has 3 main colas, and appears to be farther along than the other, also pics of her trichomes

I discovered a way to see my trichomes without going out and buying a new magnifier. I took an old pair of binoculars unscrewed the lens cap on the small end, took out the lens (it looks like a jewelers eyepiece), then look through it backwards. You have to have it right next to the plant but it works very well.

Way to go! I'm no professional, but i'de be proud of those , sp'ecially under cfl's. I'm learning the same way you are, so good luck. Actually ,i just upgraded my set-up from one similar to yours and added a variable 250-400 watt hps. Well, with any luck ,and some help from our friends here we both will be satisfied with our results.

Thanks Guys, I appreciate the comments

Any input on the purple stems?

I have been losing fan leaves a little at a time, the edges get a little burnt looking then they turn yellow and shrivel up and die. I also have some purple stems so I was thinking it is a magnesium deficiency so i added a small amount of epsom salt to my water today. We will see if it helps.

I took a few pics tonight before they went to bed. I am at day 55 of 12/12 and about day 50 of flowering. I took a couple of pics of some fan leaves that show what has been happening to my plant. Anyone know what it might be???

Due to circumstances beyond my control I had to pull the Ladies a little early. The small one was real close, wish she had been bigger. The big plant had cloudy trichomes, but the buds are airy. After the dry and the cure i ended up with about 100 grams. Not too bad for my first go at it. I learned several things and cant wait to try it again. Here is a pic of the big girl before the chop.
