This is my first grow. The degrees gets to hot in the room it gets to about 87 during the day and at night gets down to 75. Im dealing with good old arizona heat.
I have to exhale bags in the room because Im limited with space so cant get a real co2 system going. I have 12 plants in the room under one 600w. I just switched over a few days ago into flower. I have
3x sour diesel
1 NY 47
1 green crack
3 tangerine haze
1 purple passion
2 purple querkle
1 sugarberry- DJ shorts

Please feel free to comment I would love some feed back or new information if im doing something wrong. Thanks

Hi Phx, so far your grow is looking pretty good. Have you started to flower yet? Also do you have a circulation fan in there? Maybe a portable A/C if you have the funds.

I hav to 6 inch fans as well as a 12 inch oscillating fan. I also have a 452 cfm exhaust fan hooked up to the hood.

I am very crammed right now, any suggestions on what I should do?

oh yeah Phx, 600 watts works good. its basically a math game. A 600 covers so many feet very well. the more cubic feet you strech it, the less of a harvest. you need to manage your grow space and make it efficent. At least right now your plants appear to be in good health. i will have to say it looks a bit overgrow for not being in flowering,( if im correct).
Its hard to tell from the pic, but you might want to trim out the bottom that isnt getting much of any light. this would help compensate for over grown plants. keep up the good work.

So all the shoots near the bottom in shade needs to be cut off? Advise on how to trim the bottoms would be appreciated.

thanks for all the input from everyone.

Ok, I like to do the big trim of lower leafs before flower but usually need to do a little bit during first week of flower also. Just get a clean razor or sharp blade. Just cut the scrawny branches off close to the main stalk. If you arnt experienced it might look like you cut to much. dont worry they will get big again fast. just remember this advice is general. as you start to grow more and take good notes you will seen the different methods and amounts of technic for each strain. you can read only so much. experience is a must with no short cuts.

Since you said heat was becoming a problem i wouldnt suggest any more light. Try to make your canopy even and slightly dipping inward in the center.

Yield is dependent on so many factors that it is very difficult to give an accurate estimate. I realize most people are primarily concerned with yield, as am I, but I would be extremely impressed if someone could give you a correct answer. Just take care of them, keep them green and healthy.

sup phx, first off the girls look nice n healthy. as the guys above mentioned it's going to get real crowded once they get into flower, i'd deffo recommend taking them out and snipping off any under canopy side branches, use them as clones for the next run maybe. try and thin them out so it's more a SOG style just big fat single colas and you'll have nice easy to trim nuggets at the end

under a 600w you should be looking at about 1.5 ounce a plant with that many in there, reduce the numbers the yield per plant will go up.
