Yeah... look if you transplant before they are ready the soil will crumble away (especially as dry as you keep em), exposing the roots. I have seen when people have tried too early and almost all of the soil falls away and they have a bare seedling to transplant. This does stunt growth, and shocks plants. Increases chances of getting males also.

When you transplant go ahead and fill the pot to the top with soil, just leave about a half to one inch of empty space to the top of the pot from the top of the soil.

Then when you water, use a 1 gallon jug. 25% of 3 gallons is 3/4 gallon. I wait until mine are nice and dry like Beezcheeze said, 1" down into the soil is nice and dry.

I pour about 1/3 of a gallon into the pot, this fills it to about the brim, takes a second and soaks in. Then do it again, this time pouring the water slower and more evenly around the pot. stop pouring when you see water coming out of the bottom. You want approximately 10% of your watering volume to be run off.

So between 3/4 gallon and 1 gallon of water for every 3 gallon pot you water (if it is a TRUE 3 gallon pot that is), and the method I explained to you.... its important.

I've been using a 2l jug..so should I use a 2l for each 3 gal pot pretty much now ?
I put my water in a water jug the day before ..test oh usually around 6.4 then I fill up 2l add 1/2 tsp of arogreen (told I can uzd this whole cycle) usually brings pH to Bout 7.3 then I do two drops of pH down to bring the 2l jug to about 5.8-6.3

I hsvnt had runoff yet outs my cups lol but been watering every two days as they dry out..I think they are doing good

ok.... I can see you are happy to see progress... I am trying to help you from years of experience. Sure, use a 2liter- I have been using cleaned (super cleaned and dysinfected) used gallon milk jugs.

i hardly pay attention to these.... not even the kind of soil I like- this one is shorter than my lighter. 5 nodes.

if you want it to be quiet, use rubber straps instead, connected to like a corded rope, the straps and rope will absorb the vibration.

kinda seems like you rather enjoy the projects of building the room etc. I have a shitload of projects I could use skilled hands with hahahaha.... labor in exchange for experience ;)
