82 is the hottest you want to be. But they are weeds they'll still grow. Seems like that thermometer sitting right on the soil is gonna give u inaccurate temps. Where's the sensor on it? Laying on soil? Want to hang from a string from the celing or something. Have your thermometer where the tops of canopys are. More so when they get bigger. Cause it may be a bit hotter at canopy level

Lol what I'm saying is its best not to expect to have 2 lbs. try to have a mind frame of you'll be happy if you grow a half pound. That way of some die or some don't put weight on cause of heat or something then your not discouraged.

True..I get u..but I'm sticking to getting 2 lbs..lmfao jk..
I ordered one of those thermometers for 15$ that the pros use so I'll hang that bad boy when I get it away..under the light reads 82..3 plants over other one reads 74 lmao

Walking into the room itself feels cool lol..there's not much heat..the only heat in the room is under the light... Fans cool..ducting isn't even that warm. And the ballists I think r fan cooled inside so they barley give off heat and are mounted to the cieling.. I'm hoping I can stay below 85 with everything goings..especially if I intake and exhaust my hoods separately.. Not sure where to exhaust it tho..y peice exhausting with my filter ? Too Much pressure out one pipe ? No room for two pipes.. Had to squeeze 6" ducting tovmske it fit

Now I got another light coming.. trying to figure out my setup once again.. Gonna reduce right at the 8" fan and run 6" all the way through..
Not sure where to place filter..does it really matter in a 7x7x7 room? I was gonna put it in the door to the left running along the back of the wall to the window thus making the run a little longer and maybe quieter

This is how it is now..thinkin of putting it on left wall instead..giving me more room cause u can see there's a ledge there

I can't undersenad what your saying. Your temos are prolly ok now. But once you flower and turn on the other light, it'll be hot again im sure. Every single piece of electronics in your grow area adds to the heat. Yea the ballists have cookin fans but the heat is still in your room. Both lihhts attached with duct and you 6" fan blowing air from inside the grow through the lights and out the window. Just do that but put the fan farthest away from the window so the noise is further from outside. And blow the air through the lights with small carbon filter attached. Then the 8" fan for your grow area exausting Into the intake room or just into the laundry room.

Man your getting too confusing lol. You've got one area to grow in. Do you plan to make a seperate veg area later? If so its gonna be hard to set this room up for both for right now.

I don't think it will help enough to be worth doing all of that. A muffler (just like a car) silences but also allows less air to go through creating backpressure on your fan. Is the noise you hear from outside just the fan noise or is it just the air movement. An Exaust filter on top of the intake carbon filter will held tho. There's this foam type looking stuff they sell at lowes. It's long strips of foam that lay inside your gutter to keep the leaves out but allow water to pass through. Filling the window hole loosely with this stuff would probably do more than building a small box around your window

What's the other light coming? An air cooled one?!!!
Yeah I'm breakin the fucking bank..3000$ in detb now lol.

I'm gonna have two matching air cooled hoods..it should be here tommorow..only takes a day to ship.. Got them to through in some 6" ducting for free.

Spent total 950 on two lights n 8" fan lol..and speed controller.

I'm all set though.. Plan to buy a small tent to veg later.. Maybe after taxes if I get anything.

So I'm setting old light aside.

I wanted to make a hole here in the bottom left with 6" fan attached sucking air from basement through hoods and out somewhere..back inside..? Same pipe as exhaust ?

Will this mess with my passive intake ?

Then I wanted to turn the filter sideways on the left wall from where it is Now run it along the back wall around to the wibdow..and continue exhausting it out the window cause no other options ATM..

Very good^^ I understood lol. I Hate trying to describe shit and try to understand you describe shit. Lol so much harder than talking. And don't feel too bad I spent 10k maybe more. I have a ton of shit tho and won't have to buy one thing for a year prolly.
I think that cutting a hole in your door for your light hoods intake isn't good. Try to keep the light hoods ducting straight. Just use your 6" fan for the two light hoods with the small carbon filter attached like in picture I drew. This fan will be pulling air from your grow rolm not outside of jt

^^ hook your light hoods together with 6" duxt and run that small fan through em outside. Stuff your window with that gutter foam(I'll find a picture) and shoudlnt be loud from outside. Then if your temos are real bad or just during flowering period, turn on your 8" fan which will be on that little ledge wih the filter standing up fan on top. Run 8" duxt to the hole you want to put in the top of your door. To me sounds like that's about all you can really do man

I think the 6" fan with the light hoods is a given. it could either go outside through the window with a carbon filter attached. Or it could blow into a different room. The 8" fan and fikter could either sit on that ledge and blow outside(you'll need to build a box around the window to attach ducting like u meantioned earlier^) or it can blow into another room .

I think you need to get the filters as high in your room as you can. Sorry for terrible pics im wearing a wrist brace. But make a bend in your 6" duxt and put that filter at the top of the grow. Same with the big filter. Or you'll be pulling out the cool air also. Putting the elbows just before the window or just after the fan and fikter. might help wih the noise making its way out.

Very nice.

I actually want to take the intake from inside the laundry room.. And exhaust it back into the laundry room..or use a y peice at the window cause there isn't room for two 6" s
