thanks for the advice! I actually added two side lights last night!
Np i'd like to see a pic of the setup now....but i would still advise you to do some defoliation when you hit flower. It'll juice your buds up like roids...check out some research on it. I also like to LST (Low Stress Training) where you bend the plant to the side with soft cloth or speaker wire using screws on your pots to attach the wire or string. Just a suggestion

I am home for christmas and actually have my roommate taking care of her for a couple days but I will snap a few pics once I get back in a few days. I would top her and snip some fan leaves but she's an autoflower and I've researched that cutting leaves on autoflower isnt the best choice because of how fast they grow....they need all the leaves to keep the vigorous growth going. I'll upload some new pics of her and my stealth dresser box once i get back. ;) I'm pretty excited to see what she does in 5 days.

I wouldn't top an auto probably but if light isn't hitting all leaves i'd defoliate a little...experiment on your first some, and she won't look the same 5 days from now

Day 31

31-3.jpg31-4.jpg31-5.jpg31-6.jpg31.jpg

My roommate was watering her for me while I was gone for 5 days and I realized upon return that I was diluting the molasses a little strong because I had burnt a few of the fan leaves to a crisp so I flushed her with half a gallon of pure distilled water, which is why she looks like she is sagging in these pics...she's a big waterlogged for now. Her flowers seemed to like it though because she has been fruiting vigorously. I continue to LST her by moving big fan leaves out of the way for smaller branches to receive light in order to flower, soon I will tie some of the branches down. I have also uploaded a picture taken to show the light set up of the stealth box. 6 bulbs on 3 y-connectors up top (2 26w 6500K & 4 23w 2700K) and 2 bulbs on each side (19w 2700K) of the plant (1 is currently unplugged for fan).

Bought some FF Tiger Bloom yesterday and diluted 1/2 tsp into a gallon of distilled water. Gave her about 32 oz. at about 8pm tonight (30 minutes after lights on). I will upload new pics in a day or two once the yellowing leaves die off and I clip them. Gotta show her off lookin fresh and manicured. :weed:

End of Day 35/Day 36

35-3.jpg35-2.jpg35-4.jpg35.jpg

Have now trimmed off all the excess fan leaves, maybe trimming a few more in the days to come if a few keep yellowing and eventually die. The cola has actually started producing small buds as well as a few other places on her. The side lights are helping a lot with flowering under the canopy and would highly recommend it to anyone using CFLs. Watered her last night with 32 oz. molasses diluted water and is currently about a half hour from lights off (3:30pm). She is looking very thick and healthy. Very strong!! Flowering branches have almost all outgrown the fan leaves and and are receiving the bulk of the side lighting.

End of Day 40/ Day 41

40.jpg40-1.jpg40-2.jpg

She is starting to fill out, especially around the cola!! Lower portions of branches are budding as well and I am about to clip some more yellowing fan leaves in order for light to reach the lower flowers. Watered her with 32 oz. of Diluted Molasses water (3 tbsp/gallon). She should be ready in 3 weeks or so.

Day 50/51
50.jpg 50-1.jpg

She is starting to get STICKY!

I have now cut off the majority of the fan leaves even though people say that autoflowers should be left alone due to vigorous growth. I have about 14,000 Lumens on her, but nonetheless, they are CFLs and light penetration just isn't there so I decided to trim her in hopes to get light to the lower branches. I believe I have made the right choice as I have at least another 10 days until she is going to be close to ready for harvest and to be quite honest I hope she isn't ready for another 2 weeks so I can get another feeding of Tiger Bloom. My friend grew this same strain and the plant was over 2 feet tall....my girl is almost 1 FOOT! I believe this is because of the extra light I have on mine as well as the fact that I am growing in a fully reflective enclosure so she doesn't have to reach for light. My buds are much denser and stickier than any of his grows and it's still not done. He barely yielded a half ounce of really light and airy buds...I'm hoping to get somewhere around 3/4 when dry and since they are already pretty dense they should retain water a little better and dry more evenly and not end up crispy.

Let me know what you guys think.

If your friend only yielded a half with the same strain @ 2ft; is expecting around 3/4oz. wishing for too much with only a 1 foot plant? I'm just fine tuning my skills on how to tell a plants yield straight from photographs.

What do you other RUI users think?

His plant was stretching for light. The nodes were further apart causing buds to grow apart from one another so they cant retain water and mature properly. I have 2X the amount of light that he did and at the end of the day what it comes down to is LIGHT :).

I got it and agree, lights are the key factor. So your yield should be about what you're expecting I imagine. About the lights with your stealth op; how did you mount/supply power to them etc? I seen your previous pic but it only had bulbs showing (Late Nov 12 Post).

Ran to Home Depot and picked up some light bulb holders...$1 each...then bought some 16 gauge lamp cord (can also use an extension cord and cut off the female end). Do a little research on how to wire lights in a parallel chain..its quite easy just make sure you do it right so you don't blow out your fusebox ;) Then just screw the bulb holders into place wherever you want them and plug the power cord end into a timer if you have one... I have ten bulbs in parallel plugged into one outlet.

Easy enough; thanks for the details man.

Hey big dog! What's up? Hey you couldn't take a picture of that setup could ya? It would make a hell of a lot eaiser to "grasp"/understand what it looks like??

I happen to be using CFL'S & LED lighting myself. I plan on disconecting the CFL'S during flowering & just using the 800 watt LED mixed with a 400 watt HPS system I have. I had spoke with another fenllow grower on here about it, and we both had thought it would make up a interesting light spectrum! What do you think?? It should do pretty good! I sure hope so!! :) sure hope your grow is still plumping up!! ;) well, if you could shoot a picture my way I would apperciate it bro.. Thanks bud. Dank.

They need to understand tht sum plp do the best with what they got. ;) and we "all" do what we gotta do! Anyways, what strain was that?

Oh!! I wanted you 2 check out my grows, & let me know what you think bro?? Thanks. Dank.

24 hours of darkness then harvested on Day 66. Hung in dark for 72 hours then manicured and jarred on Day 69 :mrgreen:

Alright guys, here she is!!

I harvested her earlier this morning on its 3rd day of hanging in the dark and she weighed out just over 22g dry and un-manicured (20.5g manicured). Being that I smoked it on several occasions while she was still growing (couldn't wait), It would probably have been closer to 25g. Either way, I definitely succeeded and surpassed all of my friends expectations as they harvested about 14g on both grows of the same strain using hydroponics. Half an ounce is also the widely advertised average yield for growing an Autoflower Easy Ryder strain. 3/4-1 ounce is amazing!

She is currently jar-curing and will remain there for at least another week before I start smoking it regularly. It is already pretty potent and feels about 80% head high, 20% Body high. Enjoy the pics! Feel free to comment and ask any questions! :blsmoke:
