not the best idea to top autos. too much stress and like you said, they don't have all that much time to recover. I topped one of my earlier plants, nirvana's auto blue mystic. I had to main colas but they were pretty small. Plus she went way over her expected chop time

Yeah, I am going to transplant my 3 day old soon. I am picking up a bucket tonight.

Bong, I'd guess they are fast bud?
I picked up two 5 gallon walmart buckets! I want to transplant but I don't think I'll have enough soil to fill even 1 bucket :P I am going to stop using the organic shit and stick with miracle grow potting soil. I noticed I never had any problems with my plants until I switched to the more organic stuff. Many people bash MG but it has given my plants the nutrients it needs and done well for me. I am going to have 4 plants going at once so this will be interesting! 1 out of 2 of my bag seed germinated so I will probably keep it in a smaller pot and not treat it as well as my other plants :( I need to figure out what I am going to do about lighting because 1 of my plants will be an auto flower while the 3 will be photo period.
Plant 1 : Auto Flower Fast Bud
Plant 2 : Currently in paper towel (tap roots out)
Plant 3 : Lab Skunk bonus seed still in bag
Plant 4 : Bag seed still in bag

Oldest plant is : 71 days old plan on harvesting in about 6 days.
2nd Oldest plant is : about 59 days old.

He said it was some "purp" so i'm guessing it's not fast bud. But MG seems to work for a lot of people. A friend of mine uses it and his leaves are green as can be.

Hey man, I have been loving my Organic Choice brand potting mix from MG--it really helped bring my girl back to health after all the early shock she went through (while in crap top soil). It has plenty of organic fert in there for the entire life of a single autoflower, or the veg life of a photo period. Says it feeds for 2 months.

Also, for your lighting situation... Just set the lighting to accommodate your photo period plants. Put the little autoflower somewhere else when it begins to require more darkness. Maybe that will work

The autoflower can do any light schedule but 18/6 would be the best for biggest yield.... I guess I will settle for 12-12 if the photoperiod's need it.

No, until the photoperiod plants can flower I will be doing 18/6 then switching to 12/12 to get the photoperiod into flower and my 1 fast bud will just have to deal with a 12-12 schedule.

Update: My oldest plant is looking SO FROSTY and leaves are starting to die, the hairs are starting to recede, almost time for harvest!!
My 4 day old I decided I will probably not LST until 1 or 2 weeks because there is really no point until then. I planted the bag seed into the soil today! Hoping it's sativa dominant!
Current amount of plants : 3 and a half (germinated seed under soil)
Fucking so hard to type when high, keep rereading and many mistakes!

Update us with some pics of the oldest lady, I'd love to see her

The 12/12 cycle for the auto shouldn't be all that bad. Research some foliar feeds for your autoflower, they can make up for the minimal light. Mycos Calcarb is supposed to be amazing. Fan leaves only, don't spray your flowers (obviously). Spray the tops a little and the bottoms a lot once every 2 weeks. 1 tsp of that stuff in a liter spray bottle should do you wonders from vegging through harvest time.

Haha, bud porn tonight! I have to share a story with you guys though! Last night I hooked up a socket adapter to an extension cord and dangled 2x26 watt 6500k's over my new sprouts and this morning I woke up, smoked a bowl and checked on them and the adapter had exploded!! Half of it was still dangling IN the extension cord the other half was next to my sprouting and the bulb was right next to the plant. I went to pull the socket adapter out of the extension cord and I electrocuted myself (very minor) but it kept zapping me and I was like WHOAAAA!!!! but I was high, so it was okay!

HAH! Good think it landed next to the plant. I had a giant 85watt CFL blow up on me --> when I dropped it :dunce:

Hangin out with my roommate a few days ago. Suddenly THREE cop cars roll into my apt complex. 2 park right outside my unit. I'm bugging out thoroughly, eyeing them from my window. Two infinitely-long minutes later, an ambulance pulls in like a messiah. Apparently someone living there assaulted someone else and got arrested. :shock:
