i know.. im extremely happy about that. Each plant only has 2 26w 6500 cfls on them too. I cant say how good the CFLs will be for flowering, but i cant say enough about them for vegging. Way more than i could have expected. Im probably gonna LST Madison in a week or so. Shes leanin to one side as it is, so it should be a piece of cake. I probably should try to top her, but im not confident enough lol

Not confident enough? Dude, just clip the top main growth shoot off. Leave a little nub of stem between the top and the first set of leaves below it. There's no way you can fuck it up, I promise. All it does it make the plant's secondary branching take off, and you end up with a tree. :D

Not confident at all brotha haha. Ill see if i can psych myself up this week to do it. Can you do both LST and Topping? or is it better to do one or the other?

You can do both if you want, you won't hurt them. You can top and then once the branches start growing up, use strings to tie them down.
With LST though, IMHO, It's better to start young, while the stem is still flexible... Seriously, I start training mine at one week when I'm doing LST.
I didn't do LST this time, but I topped one, click the link in my sig and see what my topped girl looks like.

She yielded 1 1/2 ounces dried. I know I would have gotten a lot more under a HPS but all I had at the time was CFLs. She was good!
She was about 18 inches tall. lol

I made a plywood board with 6 26 watt daylight spectrum cfls, which is the 100 watt bulb equivalent. Then I switched to 2700k for flower.
I'll see if I can find a pic of the setup.

I attached all the little sockets & then I wired it up with some Romex 14/2 wire, then I put a plug on the end & stabbed it into a timer... Worked great!

So is the fan in the pic for light cooling, air circulation, or something else?
The fan inside is for circulation / light cooling, although the CFL's don't require much to keep them cool. There were 3 computer fans mounted on the outside of the box, pulling the cooler air in, and a 4" inline booster fan (you see the box in the pic) sucking the warm air out the top. Worked pretty well.
