Lookin crip Bud!
Thanks dude!
"Great grow Bud.
Those pics of the Diesel literally make my mouth water. It is some of the stinkiest shit I have ever come across. My entire 2400 sq. ft. house smelled of it from one ounce double bagged and in a sealed tupperware container. I miss those days.

I was looking back on your thread and was hoping you post the links to both the DIY computer fan wiring as well as the co2 deal that you are using. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks bro."

Nevermind. I just made friends with the search function. Thanks anyways.
Glad you figured it out. I'm pretty excited to test this shit out.

hey Bud!!! Just got finished reading through the entire thread...hope all is well. we're all jonesing for an update. The girls look fantastic. What's your drying/curing plan? Remember...cure, cure, and then cure some more...it will really bring out the flavor and will help to convert any immature THC to mature THC and improve the high. Do you have a jewelers magnifying glass or small, portable microscope so you can judge the trichome development? Also, remember to flush them towards the end (water only for the last 7-10 days) and leave them in 48 hours of darkness before chopping - really stress them out at the end.

Hey AV - Thanks for stopping by man! My drying plan is to let them dry up for the next 5 to 7 days and judging by the feeling of the bud I'll start curing them when they're ready. I have a 40x microscope and have been checking on the trichombs. The majority of them are amber, but there are still a few cloudy ones. It will be a nice mixture of couchlock/heady high. I flushed them the last two weeks and used molasses til the end of the grow. I trimmed all of the leaves off of my plants today and the buds are all definitely gorgeous. The curing process will take longer because I used molasses til the end, but the taste and consistency will make up for the wait. The plants were in 54 hours of darkness before chopping them. They had plenty of stress to produce as much resin as possible. Thanks for all the advice man. I'll post the final results as soon as I know what they are. Thanks agian for stopping by. Take it easy man.

Bud -

I'm curious as to how your double-tote ended up fitting the girls until the end. Did you get nervous that they would outgrow their room?

Great grow, though. I just finished reading your experience from start-to-finish.
Thank you oh so much for sharing.

its something ive been working on this grow, just from my own experimenting. not to be confused with topping, which is commonly called pinching also.

but with many plants not just weed. pinching the stalks enough to break the vascular tissue inside the stem will slow the vegetative growth while it repairs that section, and will produce more buds above the pinch. im still learning how often you can do it with out pushing the plants too much. but they are definitely resilient little fuckers, so dont be scared, you wont hurt em with a ginger yet forceful touch.
That is called super cropping and it works very well. This helps yield both indoors and outside

Hey All - Been awhile since I've posted. My first grow was a huge success. I apologize for the my lack of updates towards the end of it. I pretty much got too excited about the buds to post. haha. Altogether, after chopping, drying and curing the crop from my first go at this, I ended with an once of dry weight from two plants. Nothing to retire on, haha, but it was a success for me nonetheless. Mostly because it was my first grow, so anything was better than nothing.
Anyways - I am in the preliminary stages for my next grow. I'm not planning on changing much about my methods or setup, that is so long as I dont get some awesome advice to try something new. I am going to order some seeds for this one, to ensure dankness. I have been up in the air about the strain I want. Right now, the choice is Big Buddha Blue Cheese. It looks and sounds like some seriously funky shit. Anyhow - I will be starting a new thread for this grow, so if you all want to follow along, let me know and I'll post the link here for you. Hope everyone here at RIU has been well in my absence.
