No luck at local places.. had to order the PH Control Kit online.. will it be too late by the end of the week? nahhh, right? but would have been better if I could have fixed it sooner. -.-

Yeah that sucks about your ph man, but your grow still looks good, like he said, could be worse haha a local gerdening stort JUST opened like 1minute walk distance from my work place so I will be visiting them tomorrow! Hopefully they have things like ffof and ph test kits and stuff! Its a big place and I saw they have got a shit load of soils! We have builders warehouse here who is basically part of walmart I think but they have apes and cave people for staff, they don't know much so you can't really ask anything and there's really too much to have a look and find it. This place is a specialized gardening store with normal people working there so hopefully I have luck there! Goodluck with your girls man, the 1 is almost done, how long are you going to wait still? In a few weeks she should be done

Haha ja like "they don't know much and they don't speak to you when you ask stuff, they try to say as little as possible.." That's what it means haha why did you quote it?

Bro it's almost time for another update ! The weeks have been flying by, for me anyway :D

Are u going into week 6 or 7 now? Either way u are getting close to harvest. You should start thinking about you setup for drying them. A good trick to getting realllllly good buds is to slow down the drying process by keeping the temps down(55-60 degrees) also a common mistake is to use a fan to dry the buds . That'll make them dry way too quickly, also make sure u keep them in the pitch black. you want to kill off all the chlorophyll as quickly as u can.

It'll be exactly 7 weeks tomorrow, the other one 4 weeks(Starting to look good!) I'm thinking to hang dry in a cardboard box for 2-3 days and 2-5 days in paper bags until the outside is a little crispy but the stem still bends a bit. does that sound legit?

Then to jars of course.

It cracked me up like no other.
And reppin, you clipping in 10 days or 20?
I checked my trichomes with a 30x scope today and they're still mostly clear and some cloudy. I'm gonna start flushing her next week until she's ready and I don't know if I'll be able to do 48 hours of darkness because of limited space and 2 plants at different points of flowering.

& Yea indo that cracked me up too, they are like that.

Thanks a lot, that's what I'm thinking too. Now I've got some experience under my belt and still stuff to learn.

looking good, buds are swelling up nicely... lot of swelling from last weeks pics :D

since one of your plants will be ready for harvest much sooner than the other dont worry about the 2 days of darkness.... it does help but it isnt necessary, plenty of good buds out there that havent had it. i recommend letting ur soil dry out before you harvest, for example if you water every 3 days, water 4 day before harvest so by the time you harvest your soil will be almost completely dry.... some people will let it dry out to the bone but that can be risky, espically if you still have fertilzer salts not completely flushed out, because drying the soil concentrantes them immensely so i imagine that would not be very good >__>

anyway im not completely 100% on this method but it definitely helps get rid of some water weight and it seems to even increase potency/thc production a little.

Sounds good bro I will let it dry out before harvesting. How long do you think I got 2-3 weeks? or less?

2 weeks sounds about right, maybe a little longer. It's hard to tell without a more detailed close up, I wish ur camera could do macro shots. anyway I am always terrible at guessing, u are better off just checking the tricomes everyday.

also u should get into the habit of lifting ur pots everyday to measure how much water they are drinking. It's a useful skill to have and ur plants are going to be up taking a lot more water now.

Lol I just noticed u had 420 posts, there should be some kind of achievement award for that around here. XD

Yea I saved my last little bit of cannabis last night to smoke for my 420 post.

I lift my pots don't worry.

two fine looking plants you've got there reppinhigh. what strains are they?

i've got a diesel in flowering right now that's approaching 6 weeks so i'm really hoping to see a good deal of swelling soon :)
