Very cool to see the progress of your grow. I have a 2x2.5x5.5 coming in. I am wondering if I should get a T4 or T6. My main concern is smell and secondly noise. What fan speed were you running at? How was the noise? What was your reasoning behind getting a 4 inch filter?

I got T6. The reason i got was that incase I upgrade down the road I will can still use it on a bigger tent. Also at 50% it is pretty quite. So i would recommend going with T6. BTW my reason going with 4inch filter was that I wanted to fit it in the tent but next run I will be upgrading to 6inch carbon filter with my T6 and put it outside of the tent.

I ended up ordering the S6. Now I need a 6" carbon filter. Just not sure about which brand and size. Did you have any in mind for your upgrade?

I went with vivosun. But i got some smell leaking in last few weeks of flowering. Not too much. It could be due to high humidity. If you re fine with little smell then I would go with vivosun or AC infinity. If you got money to spend, i would go with better brand like CAN etc.

I don't have all that much money to spend but in my situation I would rather be safe than sorry. I went with the Can 33. Can't wait to get everything set up!

Get either infinity or ipower carbon filter.
If you're not moving air fast enough, or too fast, it won't filter correctly period.

I'm sure Bob's moving air too quickly for a 4 inch filter

How is the coco coir? Any suggestions/feedback on that? Which ratio did you use and what is your watering/nutrient cycle? Thanks a lot!

Actually that was the reason I went with 6inch fan so I can step it down and still effectively filter while producing low noise.

Coco is the best. 100% go with coco. In my next grow, im doing high frequency feeding multiple times a day which should give me similar result as hydro. I would recommend 100% follow cocoforcannabis.com. If I read it and followed it, i would have had avoided multiple issues.

Presume you are going to do a auto watering system?
