Some of us know what the costs are because we grow, others have no clue because they don't grow.;-):hump::shock::sleep::weed::bigjoint::dunce::finger::wall:

Some of us do know the costs. True dat MR!
and then there are some who have no comprehension of growing large scale, but think they do it with spread sheets , when they've not done anything, first hand.

Awesome

THE SHIT COSTS LESS THAN PENNIES TO GROW AND MAKES STUPID MONEY!
and it can grow all by itself with absolutely ZERO HELP!

Ya... and people think a dollar a gram is not much??

Give your silly heads a shake people.

Do you have any clue how expensive it is to grow under the MMPR? The cost of software, plant identification and tracking, accounting and legal fees, security, insurance, liability insurance, approved packaging, customer service, regulatory compliance, personal protective equipment, sanitation, integrated pest management, paying staff including a Ph.D. for quality assurance, etc., etc.

Your right GB I tried showing them already that if tweed for example grew half of his 500,000 square foot warehouse at a not great yield of 500grams a square meter you could make $90,000,000 three times a year. Oh and the best part its at a compassionate price of $62.5 an oz or $1000 a pound. So please tell me how, with this kind of money to be made are the patients getting fleeced at $8-$10 a gram?

Oh and all you LP's out there should be ashamed of yourselves saying you have to charge that much. Can someone say propaganda(kinda reminds me of the refer madness bullshit) At least leaf said the truth when he mentioned compassionate pricing to his partners laughed!!! It could easily have a compassionate price of 3$ for now and $1 or less in the future as more and more patients sign on. But greed from rich assholes who want to take advantage of the sick. Has taken over!!

Itsme thanks for the reply. You must grow all your plants from clone? Cause if I'm not mistake seeds have different phenos. So different thc levels/chances for mould due to different densities in bud structure/ produce different levels of canabinods and terpenes
Etc after all you LP's are a medical market and I need plants high in linalool which is terpene that helps serotonin reuptake. How would I find this with coffee shop recreational testing being done one sample per hundred plants. Not much cash spent on testing

Peace

Then why aren't you guys getting together and standing up to the fucking government and saying enough is enough already? Coming here and trying to convince people who are in the process of having their rights taken away is a waste of air. The only reason you have all these expenses is because you haven't collectively said to the government "no that will not work." Instead you're all so blinded with getting your foot in the door that by the time you do......well just look at what's happening to the LP's already licenced...they can't grow a fucking weed to save their soul.

That's the million dollar question "phenotype selection" I will be starting from seed, say 50 seeds from each strain. Once the seed has sprouted, a tissue culture will be taken, regardless of sex. Then the male seedlings will be culled, and the tissue culture of all the seeds including the males will be kept for later breeding purposes, as a tissue culture. This is why it could take up to a year for our first production run, the seeds will need to be grown out to find the "holy grail" phenotype of each strain. Once I have determined which pheno. Is the keeper I can go back into my tissue culture storage and select the winner. From there all plants in a single room will be of the winning pheno. So in theory all plants in a single batch should test identically.

That could take years... But at least you are giving a realistic answer and actually doing studies to see which phenos work. Instead of just renaming someone else's strain with childish names like snikelfarts or whatever. Lol fucken idiots. But still if LP's are medical producers should they not have to test every plant???

That's like saying every aspirin should be tested. In theory every plant should be genetically identical. So the entire batch should be the same. If every plant was tested the cost would be astronomical, 100 plants at $850-$1000 per test. It would cost me $1.275mil every month to test all.

The cost is already astranomical.
Exactly, now think about why dispensaries charge $10/g and they follow no rules? No testing, no QA, no record keeping, no R&D, no nothing, they are just pot pedlars, in it for the money, maybe you should be boycotting them as well?

For every 1 true compassion club there are 10 dispensaries in it for the money. You need to do your due diligence in choosing a CC just as much as choosing a LP. Good ones and bad ones.

True that. That's why the only one i would recommend would be the BCCC. Did the due dilligence they've been around since the start and never been in trouble with the law.
