My first ever grow.. White Widow Ebb and Flow with air stone

Here is my latest update. I started my plants on 6th of March. And it took 2 weeks to show sex. So Where am I..

I'm at day 34 of flowering (not including the 2 week of pre flower).

Keep in mind that for over a week, I have my plants lights messed up. 12 on, 2 off , 2 on, and 8 off.
This seemed to promote more nodes/stems to grow around where my main colas should have formed.

EC 2.1 Ph 6, flooded 3 times a day. 10 x 20watt warm cfls, and 1 x 200watt Red envirlite.

400watts in total.

I made a home made C02 generator, yeast sugar, and water in a coke bottle with a tube in the lid.

I'm venting the warm air out of the grow room with a bathroom extractor fan.
Humidity was an issue a for a while was between 80-90%. Now I have that under control at 50-55%.

All the pics of buds forming are from different spots on the plants. As shown in the pictures below.
There is a pic of the base of my larger plant. With the marker pen to show scale. The main stalk is nearly 2 inches wide. Like a tree, I'll need a saw to cut it down! lol

they are still looking very leafy. you seem to have done a lot of research before you started your grow. i sprouted seeds that i didn't think would sprout and decided to keep them. not knowing anything about growing till i found this website. now i have weed growing in my wardrobe. i have no idea what the humidity is like in my wardrobe.

I done a lot of reading on the net while at work. Dead at work so I spend the best part of 6 or 7 hours on the internet reading. (firewall for this site though).

They are leafy alright. But that's White widow fNot as much foliage. They are in with the widows. But when the widows are done, they will still be only half done. So then they'll get all the light to themselves. I probably get a better harvest from the 3 small bag seeds then the 2 large widows! lol

good start but i would consider trimming at hte base of those plants man. if you coulda done that earlier, say before flowering stage and still at veg stage, you'd set yourself up for a lot of little clones. keep the pics coming. keep up the good work bro.

Trust me I've been trimming every second day down there. I took 4 of the best trimmings and have them in a bubble box , hoping they will root.

Thanks for dropping by.

you can stop growth by trimming to often because the plant needs a couple days to recover. think about it your'e cutting part of a living thing off, it's going to

have to heal before it starts growing again. if it needs to be trimmed do it all at once and water it straight after(try to do it just after your lights come on) then

give it about a week or two before attacking it again. i have seen people fuck there plants up by trimming way to much. and i'm not to sure but i think you

shouldn't really be trimming much during flowering.

I'll post a proper update tomorrow. Plants seem to be filling out a bit more everyday.
Nothing major.

Checked my EC today and it was up to 3.2. So I added more water to lower it, and some epsom salts. I'l chance the res the weekend,

Pics tomorrow.

At last I have upload pictures.

The first lot of pics are of my big white widows. You can see in a few of the pics, that my topping an fim'ing have produced 2 main colas on one plant (topped), and 5 colas, (fimed but colas not going to be too big.)

There's a couple in there of my slow growing widow. Which is now coming along nicely.

Then the couple of pics. The long skinny ones are my bag seed 12/12.

My EC is up at 3.2 for a few days now. But the plants seem to be fine. I'll be changing the res with new water this week. Ph still around 6.

This was the planned week for harvesting my WW's. But due to the fuck up with the lights a few weeks ago. I'd say another 2-4 weeks. I'll keep an eye on the them daily and play it by ear.

More pics.
My plants look like about 30 days into flower. In reality they are 45 days in flower. Or 59 days including the pre flower stage. So hopefully another 20 -25 days should be it.

Didn't end uploading the bag seed pics. Taking all day. Sorry.

Just looking back through my journal. And I'm on day 63 since I went 12/12.
9 weeks in total.

I added molasses today. Fresh water in the res. EC down to 1.0. Next week I'll start with just plain water till the end. With maybe a drop of molasses. (which by the way is sticky as fuck and smells. And thats molasses not the weed. lol)
I still think the plants need another 2 weeks, at least.

Damn messing up the lights 2 weeks into flower. Still they are coming on nicely. Just taking a little long.

I'll post new pics tomorrow.

Update. Flowering day 70-71.

Not long now I hope. Tricomes are cloudy. Just waiting until they go more or less 60-70% amber, then harvest time.

Here are a few pics. First two are without the flash on, third is my big plant, flash on. Barely any fan leaves left. All fell off/died.

Update. Day 72. Harvest first plant!

I've decided to harvest my bigger plant. Tricomes are cloudy, some amber. I thought I cut one on the early side, so I could get a high smoke. The other I'll cut more amber, for a body stone.

Attached are some pics of before and after cutting. Along with my scales (got for 20 euro. goes as low as 1g and you can zero out), and my drying box I made.

Total wet weight for this plant without leaves. With stems though was 159g. Which I'm really happy about. Probably lose about 65-75%. So should be looking at between 40-50g. Not bad for a first grow with CFL's.

Kept hold of all the small leaf cuttings. Full of sticky-ness!!! lol Use that to try make some hash or something.
