My first closet grow

Hey Nice Buds...

It's a very good Idea just to water every 4 days... usually best is to water at least every second day afaik.
I think better half the water/feed you give them every 4 days, but every two days.

If PH is 7,5 plants can't use the nuts you give them as well as they could with lower PH.
This and maybe the drying out too much are the reasons for droping leafs this early.

Don't worry too much about it, but more leafs means bigger Buds...
Plant's after a few weeks of flowering start to get some yellow leafs and later to drop them.
In your case it started imho a little bit to early.


Hey I saw there was a problem with the other HPS, have you tried just to swich the poles connectet to the socket? some cheep systems just work one way... if this is not working, after your grow, try the bulb of the one system with the other and things like that to find out whats the problem...

Hey, Thanks Maxi. I know I screwed up my ph, but hopefully I will learn from this and do better on my second try. I ran out of the good (store) water, and I was using well water. This may be the cause. I have lost a lot of leaves, but the buds look nice (in my eyes at least). I think they are still growing in size slowly. It is hard to tell looking at them every day. I am currently building a drying box with plans from members on this site. Thank you Panhead! It cost me about $35 bucks for the materials. I will be pressed for time when these are finished so I want to speed up the drying as much as possible.
Here are some pics from today. I will give them some water and nutes tomorrow. I believe the closeups are my white widows. They are both beautiful, but one of them is just coated in crystals, it is incredible. The other one has some crystals, but not like that one. They are both feminized seeds from Amsterdam.

Thanks for the compliments. I have made a some mistakes, but I'm pretty sure this stuff will be top notch. No more getting ripped off, at least for a little while. I don't think I can stop now. Next time I will take some clones.

I gave them just store water and molasses today. I had been out of town for a week and had a friend watering them while I was away. They seem to be using more water now than before. I have included close up shots of each plant. The last 2 closeups are the white widow plants. I noticed a seed today imbedded in one of the smaller buds of the white widow plants. I'm not sure if it was pollenated by my bagseed, or if it just appeared on its own. I held a cfl light close to the tops of the plants today and they had a very nice bright green color to them.
I trimmed some of the leaf ends off today if they were too dried up. There are very few large leafs left. The ww said 55 days flowering which would be tomorrow. I think I may give them an extra week. My trichomes are totally clouded as far as I can tell with my cheap scope.
I just got back from a week in Cali. One of my bros out there hooked me up with an oz of pineapple bud. Wow. fantastic! I have just a few grams left that I was able to sneak back with me.

I just spotted another seed. They are both on one of my white widows. They were supposed to be feminized seeds, but they may have been pollenated by my other plants. Well, at least they should be worth hanging on to. The plant is just coated with pollens.
I will try to get a pic of the seeds later tonight or tomorrow posted.

sometimes those feminizes plants get some very few seeds before harvest couse they become some kind of hermie but not real hermies

I don't like fem. seeds at all, sometimes they become really ugly hermies,

Thanks for checking them out again Maxi. I can only give them maybe a week at the most as I will be leaving for the holidays. Hopefully that will be good enough.

Do you think these seeds would be worth saving? I don't think any of the other plants have seeds, but I suppose they could be hidden inside of the buds. The seeds look very healthy and dark. It is lights out so I cant get a picture of them right now, but I will try to get one tomorrow.

Plants from those Seeds usually look female at the beginning and later on most of them will become ugly hermies, so I would throw them away unless you want to grow some hermies for fun^^

Thanks Maxi. I was out on the central coast of California. I drove through Big Sur, and stayed in Carmel and Pismo Beach. I used to live out there and I will be moving back in the next few years.
Should I pull this hermie? Will it pollenate the others, or can I leave it?

Could you detect where the pollen came from, any little bananas at a bud?
If yes, just pluck them out.
If you can't detect the problem maybe it's better to harvest this Plant now, the others will probably will become a few seeds allready, but you can still prevent that even more calyxes form those plans will get polinated...
Be carefull handling the herme you can spread pollen very easy...

I can't say I am very dissapointed as I could always use more grass soon. I do not want to risk pollenating my girls. It may be too late already. These buds look fantastic and are coated with lots of crystals.
I still have the other 5 girls and will give them at least a week more.
The trichs are very cloudy now so hopefully this batch will be a good daytime high.
Here are pics while I was trimming. I am trying my new homemade drying box, hopefully I can sample these by Saturday.

There are a bunch of males in my grow but I was not expecting anything else from reg seeds, the only fact I don't like is that my only KC33 is male so I'll just harvest skunk#1 weed...

I still have 5 girls going. 4 bagseed, and one white widow, my runt. I pulled a white widow a week ago because it hermed on me. As far as I can tell, there are no more visible seeds.
The white widow is fantastic. I got 15 grams of dried bud from my hermie plant. It has a very nice flavor and high. It was picked a few weeks early because of the seeds, but I'm sure my other widow will be top notch. I will be sure to cure the other plants properly. I may experiment with water curing on some of the bagseed buds.
One of the bagseed plants is turning purple on me.
I inspected the trichomes earlier, and they are clouded, but not amber yet. I am using straight distilled water now and hope to harvest in about a week.
Some of the bagseed plants are looking insane. They have small buds growing out of the large buds.
Enjoy the pics. Next time will hopefully be more impressive, but I am fairly pleased for my first time.

hey one question at what size did you start flowering them?
First I was wondering why just 15g but after I've seen those pictures I realized 15g is quite much for such a small plant^^

They were probably around 8 - 10 inches when I put them into flowering. I had them under CFL at first so not enough light. My next grow, I will use 400 watt mh for vegging and I hope for better results. I was hoping for more, but I am not too disappointed. Anything around here even close to being as good as mine would be 200-250 for a half ounce.
My white widow is tasting very nice with a hell of a nice buzz. I am being patient with the rest of my plants, but will probably sacrifice one soon as I am going through the widow quickly. I check the trichomes daily, and they are looking very close.
I cannot wait to start my next grow. I have some skunk #1 from nirvana that I might try, and some mazar x afghan also.

I vegged my Crimea Blue under CFLs and they stretched like a son of a bitch! I'm looking into a MH as well.
