my first butter experience went well!

had roughly 30 grams of leaf and some trim taken from a prematurely chopped (4 weeks early) hermie.
so i kept it basic:

1. melted 3 sticks (3/4 lb) of butter in a crock pot on low. took about 30-45 minutes for the butter to fully melt
2. dumped the dried, ground up leaf into the butter and stirred it up. left it alone to just barely simmer for about 16 hours
3. strained it through some cheesecloth and chilled it in the fridge.

i spread it on a bagel, and was sideways for almost 3 hours. not bad for mostly fan leaves!
now, the crock pot i used was pretty old, and its "low" setting was probably equal to my other pot's "warm" setting, it barely bubbled at all the entire time. next time i'm using 4 sticks of butter and grind the leaves up a lot more because the mixture was a little thick.
