My first attempt at making a real grow room, and growing weed.

since it's my first attempt it's a mixed bag of whatever was left when i bought some.. There is some home grown, some hydro, some blueberry kush.. Sadly I don't know what any of them are.. I'll order real seeds once i get the environment right, and have my led light.. These are just test plants..
organize your grow before you start ( get dialled in )
you'll have less problems later on

Here's an update.. So i have 4 plants in my tent, under a 300 watt led, it's actual 210 w power draw, and 4 23 watt cfl's for ambient light.. I just got the led, so i've been playing with height etc. The cfl's actually got me thru the seedling stage.. I do have some questions..

3 of the seeds are scrubs, and one is a feminized bc juicy fruit..

The one scrub is the largest and it's the last pic, i can't tell yet if it's male or female, am i missing something or is it just confused and hasn't decided?

The juicy fruit today i noticed on the fan leaves a crusty orange dry substance that smells like really really good pot, does this mean the crystals are forming or am i nub????

also i added nutes, about 25 percent of recommended when i watered.. It's 15-15-15 by Schultz.. it was handy and i thought why not..

Also i'm just looking on an opinion on how the plants look period.. Ty

Plants are looking good man. You have great ambition and a good attitude, always keep that mentality! The more you observe and question, the more you will learn and the better your grow will be. As for your humidity, 50 is not bad but for the first couple weeks, the higher the better. 50-70 is good for veg and once you get into flowering keep it at 40 or below. Good luck man!

Plants look a little heat stressed. I could be wrong but that what it looks like in the pics. What's the temp of the room? How close are the lights? Also look like they may be a little over watered.

The room's about 77, and i moved the lights further away and i have been monitoring. The light is new so i have to tweak things daily.. The light is currently about 18 inches from the top...

Keep your temps between 74-80 with good ventilation. I keep mine between those temps. Be consistent with your watering. Say, feed once a week and water everytime your soil dries at about 2" deep. Be easy on nutes during veg. Keep studying. Youre doing a great job. I apologize! I ment to mention:# I feed every Wed. # I water every Sunday. Those are my consistent days. Or unless your soil dries 2"or more. Or if your instincts say you need to water.

So i thought I would post an update... Especially since i'm in the flowering stage, and i've recently added a 4x4 tent.. The 300 watt led is ok for my current purpose, but now i'm thinking DIY 6 cob led light, we'll see. Anyways out of the 4 plants, two turned out male, and two are female, one is tiny. I had originally in my nubism put the seedling in MG soil, bad move, I saved it, but it's really never grown.. The second the fem seed did grow and I will attach a pic.. I topped it once.. However I did at time use stakes to maneuver the main cola before topping, i did not tie it down, but in this pic it almost looks like there will be 4 fairly large buds.. It's been flowering for about 3 weeks now.. 12/12 with some bloom booster once a week about 80 percent strength... Also i've taken clones off the fem plant, and they are growing amazingly well, practice does help.. So did the info i received on here.. The pics are light off, and obviously with the led on.. The nice thing with the led i have it about 10 inches from my plant and there is no burning of the leafs.. IMG_20141124_142426.jpg IMG_20141124_142426.jpg IMG_20141121_203430.jpg

Few Tips:

\

or use this:

You are losing half the light with that setup you have, this is a cheap simple solution. Aluminum foil, or the Aluminum foil cake pans "Yes it will bounce back from the roof of whatever you are using, but with no value to the plant, by using a reflector like these, it directs the light going up directly back down at the plant.

I paid 100 bucks for a 300 watt, chinese made led, and you can see the results.. I had good soil, followed direction and i think i'm doing ok on the big plant i topped once.. the 300 watts is only 210 watts.. I plan on upgrading this and buying a second tent, but it was veg under 6 cfl's
