My envirolite grow 250w red + 250w blue

I can't see any balls on either of them.. but in a few more days I guess we'll be sure

yeh same cant see any balls, usually i thought the balls show sooner than the pistils? coz 3 are deff females can see the pistils

I've looked @ the pics closely(nice camera man) they are females

nice pictures mate. First 3 photos of the first batch, you can clearly see pistils formed. 3rd photo of the 2nd batch I think is the same. Other than that, its still too hard to see. Must say im very happy for yourself being a first grow n all. Im LITERALLY now looking forward to seeing what the harvest is like

hi there folks, update from last night, pics below as at DAY 11 of flower:

so far we have 3 confirmed females, below: (2 pics of each)

and then we have 2 unconfirmed yet (these were in smaller pots so naturally gonna take maybe another week to sex):

im quite happy as my aim was to germinate 9 seeds, which i did, and hope for at least 3 ladys, which i have with the possibilty of one or two more as the other 2 havent told sex yet.

this leads me to my next question, should i repot the 2 that havent showed sex yet into larger pots like the others or should i leave it, bearing in mind there approaching there 2nd complete week of flowering, id rather just leave them if it means they will die or suffer badly from shock by repotting at this stage.


The males are beeing culled tonight and left in black bags for a week or two then il examine them to see if i can make some hash out of them.

Any comments tips or advice good or bad welcome, i am very happy with my 1st grow.

yeh there so feckin huge now i would have never thought they would get like this, next week im stickin in another 125w red and 250w blue in there inbetween the plants to get light to the lower branches, any ideas anyone guesses on what my 3 ladys will yeild? i know its far off yet but still lol

oh and also the males have now been culled so have a bit more space there now to spread the light around the 3 ladys and 2 unconfirmed ones.

so should i repot the two small pot ones into bigger pots or wait till they show sex then repot? can you even repot in flower?

also what do i do with my 3 male plants, i have killed em and stuck em in black bags for the time beeing till i decide what to do, make hash? is there any point?

anyone? am i doing things right?

well,you shouldov repotted already,but you can repot now or wait till they show,repotting before may slow things down for a day or 2 so they may take a little longer to expose themselves,,,ive repotted halfway through flowering before with no problems,you might get soil on the pistils,but it wont do any harm,just gently shake um to get most it off,,its always good to give um some root complex or formulex after you repot,,,,anyway there looking good,looking forward to seeing the final results,,,,,,,peace

ok thanks, il repot in a few days then they should be kool, im not bothered if those two dont yeild as much as i have my 3 ladys i was after anyway

heres an update on day 16 of flower:

theres 3 pics of each of the ak's, and one of the n lights lady

ak number 4 has some issues, the lower leafs/branches are drooping as you can see from pic ak48 -4 (3)

any ideas what to do or whats causing this, all the other plants are fine, the thing is tho its still growin nice bud on the plant, just the lower leafs r yellowing and kinda dying off, is this ok or wot?

any help would be great

Alrite dude. Nice to see some updates finally. Seems like ive been waiting too long to see these . In respect to the drooping leaves, I thought this would have been more prominent on taller plants. With yours, my most logical explanation is that the plant has hit overdrive/full boost on bud development & is simply not conducting photosynthesis on its lower leaves. Id recommend that as soon as you're back from your business trip, you whack them other lights in lower down. This may not neccessarily promote extra growth, but hopefully it should help in preventing the plant from adopting the same M.O further up the plant. Let me know what your thoughts are kidda prajeee

yeh that sounds like logical explanation to me mate, because as you can see from the pics the bud is still growin strong on the plant, in a few days il stick an extra 375watts of cfl light inbetween the plants to promote lower bud sites and hopefully beef these bitches up, im quite happy so far, there looking not bad at all after 16th day of flower comparing to some other grows iv seen here its some nice buddage this early on

hey buddy thanks for the comment, the light i have is an envirolite, there pretty much the same as what you have in the US called ecolites, they come in 125w, 200w and 250w, i highly reccomend them. try ebay

heat is basically a non issue, i can touch the light and it wont burn me, so u can keep these like an inch above the plants and they wont burn.

do you have any views on the drooping leaves on the bottom, is it normal?
