I completely agree i hope her house gets tagged for sniching on creativity.
Really any body that hates on this art is ignorant in my eyes and will more likely say something like "oh but it's a crime" NO IT'S PAINT STFU. A crime is shooting someone, a crime is taking something that isn't yours, a crime is hurting someone else. If you can't appreciate the creativity that this era is bring around you need to go in a hole and die.

As far as the semi argument as to whether or not it is a crime, on paper it is regardless of art, intention, etc. However, you ever walk down an average street in a major city? Take Chi-town for example. Unless you're on Michigan Ave, State St, Clark, or a handful of others, you basically have the same, boring, in some cases dilapidated crap. I think we should allow artists to use these buildings as canvas. In these areas, in most cases, it looks a hellalot better to have a well tagged building than an otherwise neglected one. Some areas around the world allow just that, and the sentiment seems to be from the locals that it makes the areas look better. Within reason, barring blatantly offensive pieces and gang crap, I am all for it and if I had the skills I'd be doing it too!
On a side note, I paid a graf artist to do a scene on a basement wall about 9' high x 20' long and it was fucking awesome. It was a mix of real life and ficticious mafia characters in different settings, kinda a mural/collage. It was worth every penny. Pain in the ass to find someone to do it though...

The police should make him clean that ugly shit off the wall and pay the owner for doing it along with a fine. Then he should go to prison and possibly have one of his fingers cut off as an additional penalty or be caned.
People who vandalize others property are scum. Painting ugly shit on my wall is the same as stealing from me. Piece of shit trash vandals need to be in prison with theives, rapists and murderers.

Interesting debate. IMHO, it shouldn't be that hard to get permission from a property owner of a dilapidated old building. Tell him or her you're an aspiring artist and it would be an improvement. Sadly, most "artists" won't do that. Why? Because the whole point of doing it is to vandalize. To send a big fuck you to some imaginary authority figure and make yourself better. To be Johnny Rebel. It's not about the art for these people, it really isn't.
