Hello everyone again for my third time around. This time however I will be doing a non auto strain. I picked the GREAT WHITE SHARK, for its yeild and cause it just sounded like you get RIPPED. Well I planted one about three days ago and then another two days ago. The first one broke soil two days ago and the second one broke soil earlier today. I also just put two more seeds into a shot glass to germinate today (since I fucked up and killed one of my autos, see other journal last post to find out how). Turning to 12/12 as soon as my last two autos finish. I will be updating daily and probably weekly with pics maybe more than that but who knows. Hope some people stick around for this it should be exciting.

I know right...... Man these are the FASTEST germinating seeds I've ever had. I put them in yesterday at 4:00 pm. I was just curious so by 10:00 i checked on them and just tapped them both sunk. Looked at them when I woke this morning at 8 and both were cracked with the taproots showing. I thought they were gonna take a lil longer I gotta go get some containers.

Just a little update on how they are doing. Process is slow at first like always. I should be posting some pics once they get their 3rd or 4th set of leaves after the first dose of veg nutes. Umm the other two haven't broke soil yet but any day I am expecting them to. I'll post pics in probably about a week or week and a half.

I mean do you really want to see pictures of seedlings? I don't know about you but I've ALOT of seedlings and they all pretty much look the same. Like you can even tell what it is at this stage. But just for the sarcastic m fer I'll take some pics of the seedlings which is pretty lame if you ask me.

Here are the pics. One came up with the seed stuck so leaves are kinda brown on the end. New growth is nice. Started to stretch a lil so I had to put them under books and stuff to get them about 24" away. Day 5 by the way. Should I move them closer or is that fine. I have hood vented but only with a 4" fan so its still pretty hot. I can maintain an 85F with the thermometer on the soil so thats not even at the tops.

Whats the medium you got there? Its not to hot for your seedlings?

50% Topsoil 50% cow manure. And then put soil in mixing pot and added perlite to my liking. I didn't think the temp was a problem. They are the farthest away from the light being in the corner and temps stays around 80 in the corner. Hope they do good.

Hey man. Ok looks like your guys are stretched a lot, I would recommend moving the light closer if you can without burning them. Also your medium looks like it is to "hot" for the seedlings my medium sometimes burns them and it does not have much nutrients in it. Auto's are extremly sensitve to nutrients I think thats where most ppl go wrong. Let me know if this helps. Good luck I hope they straighten up for ya I cant wait to see.

OK I boosted them up a bunch with a couple more books. Over fert? There is not ferts in the soil I don't know how that happened just the soil and water is all I gave them. Yall think they will bounce back. Also they are not auto's they are the regular strain. Dan you said my soil looks like it gets to hott? What do you mean by that? BTW another one of the WS broke soil this morning.

Got the seedlings about 19" away from the light. A third WS has joined us this morning. I wonder what has happened to the other seed I put in. It's been about 4 days since I put them in. Maybe i just put the other one in a lil to deep. Hopefully I'll get all this down so I can get some good results in the end.

Top Soil usually has enough nutrients to last seedlings 1-2 weeks. Mixed properly with perlite without cow manure and that would be good stuff for seedlings.
Cow Manure is fertalizer or nutrients, and by the soil is to hot -meaning to much nutrients in the soil. So your technically getting them to hot and burning the leaves.

Also i thought you were doing The Auto Great Whites my bad.
