Here is mine. Blurry due to cheap cell phone. Hatched from my incubator and won't be put outside until spring.
Only a few months old.
that is tiny for a few months old, mine are only 4 weeks. they do just fine outside after 2 weeks, and they need to swim to get their feathers. is yours swimming?

also, ducks are social animals. does yours have a mate to pal around with?

sorry to preach, i just want what's best for your duck(s).

It's a bad pic. He/she is starting to feather and takes a bath in the tub a few times a week. I got three more in the incubator for possible company.
I have a flock of ducks and a few chickens but have a rat problem. Unless I collect the naturally hatched babies, they won't make it.
I am doing incubation and putting rat poison in the run to get rid of the rats. Sometimes I go out in the barn with a .22 with bird shot and a six pack to do a little hunting. The rat bastards don't show any fear of a person, but the bird shot sure changes that idea.

I love the way she hides the warm egg in her new nest!
Great job.. cannabutt
she was a good mama chicken.

she gave up the role of mother about a week ago, and now sleeps with the chickens, not the ducks. it took the ducks two days to get over it. they still lay down by the chicken coop every night until i chase them into their duck coop.

seeing plants grow up is one thing, seeing these ducks grow up is entirely better. i love how nature works.

We are eating chicken today. Once when I was little, we visited my aunt for lunch, and she served duck. I did not like duck.

they are getting big very quickly. they are just over a month old and bigger than their mama already.

they've been swimming every day so that their feathers come in. dandelion turned out to be a white duck, likely a pekin. the other two are likely golden 300s or rowans.
