I just did something I dont know why I havn't thought of earlier. Instead of having the only 4 6500k bulbs 2 at either end i put all 4 in the middle with my strongest plants right under them... and the 4 2700ks are now on the sides

Put in 1 more 6500K 23 watt bulb and 2 more 23 watt 2700k bulbs for a total of 250 watts for the 2 main plants... but there are still 2 that are coming back to life so well see

I am going to start flowering next friday for sure. The plants are clearly starting the stage where they say they grow 1 inch per 24 hours so they are going pretty quick now. They still havn't passed like 1 inch in height but the leaves are filling in so fast i cant beleive it!

Random question even though no one looks in here - how long until I have a fully grown leaf? I really want to cut one off and dry it out for some reason... I have never touched an actual leaf in my life. heh

Also is it possible that my lights are too close? The leaves seem to not be growing very far out but they are getting thick! Seems like everything should be extending more?

Dude. Just let your plant grow. Fan leaves are very important, dont go cutting shit off.

Lets see an update, growth still seems to be very slow.

Big update - I transplanted them into bigger pots and Shultz premium potting soil last night. How long will it take before they take off in growing? And how good is this soil? Its the best I could find here because its fall now.

wish I had caught this thread before you transplanted. Any way from what I remember from plant science, schultz is pretty good, mg was always thought of as a do not use.
Hope you moistened the potting soil before you put it in the pots. The peat moss, if not moistened before hand, will actually repel water.
The seeds contain enough stored energy to feed themselves for maybe a month after germination. So no nutes for at least 2 weeks.
if you still have the old pots, crack open the soil and see if the water penetrated the whole of the soil. If not, and you didnt moisten the new soil first , you know from the bag into the pot,you may end up with the same issue.
If the old soil was dry in the middle and you think the new soil will also be dry just give them a good watering, wait 10 minutes and give them another good watering to fully wet the soil to the core. Once this is done you can then continue with a good watering schedule.
good luck
ps. short and bushy is waaayyyy better than long and lanky!!

This is exactly how they are always sitting and there is a better pic of the grow! I am definatly noticing a tiny bit of new growth now, hopefully it goes good from here on in!

Should I move them closer to the lights?

Plants quite obviously like the new soil. Growth started back up fll pace again yesterday and now they have almost doubled in size and are on their 3rd set of leaves.

oh and I made the mistake yesterday of adding a tiny bit of nutes and they got ever so slightly nute burned, but its all good
