Now you got me worried cause I have never sparyed my plants. Gotta get a dollar general special and start going to town every night.
The dollar store near me, has the best sprayers I have found in the last few years..... lmao.....Win

But seriously, I have dogs too and I accept that complete killing of spider mites isn't quite the balance I am looking for either. Kind of a plant zen thing I guess, some are Ok, but obviously none would be better and lots are Shit-tee!

Also remember, I do not use Commercial chemicals, I try using plant chemicals that are non-toxic known acarifuges [mite repellant] and acaricide's [mite killer]....these cycles take longer and require more vigilance than a synthetic treatment, even Neem.

Like I said, I need to adjust to that cycle, because I go about it the old way and that's not do-able anymore.....

I follow you now. I'd love to run a more organic route but this area is kinda funny farming towns and a few cities. The closest city is ghetto as fuck and doesn't have a "hydro shop" as they call it. Wally World and Lowes carry shit for shit so that's what I'm stuck with ,lol. But hey we got acres of farms up the ass and appareantly in the mist of all that land no one tends to personal gardens?

Here check this thread out The ROLS thread

I have been asking hyroot a ton of questions or just following along with what he has to say in the Organic forum....you live in the best spot possible to source your own, the wilder it is, usually the easier it is.

As far as plant spraying solutions....did I ever suggest this link? Plant to the Rescue of Plants this is the traditional French way I guess of creating stuff and I still follow it somewhat to this day.

I used to work as a botanist, so the plants have changed, but not many, since most grow wild or weedy around me. Pick em, stick em...in water....wait....strain. Combined with your own recycled soil, it is damn near free sans your labor. Not a bad trade-off.

I really just try to follow an old fashioned way of gardening, no real secret to it, lots of experimenting too. I just religiously stay away from chems. My immune system will explode.....

Sick setup man. I love the little trees you got going on there. I had mites my last grow. I found that dish soap diluted in water worked great. The soap actually eats right through there bodies. It was hard to keep under control though. Once I realized that it was mites and not heat, I was too far gone.

Have you ever tried Dr. Bronner's? I use the peppermint oil liquid soap. I wasn't adding it to every spray, but now I add about 5ml's every gallon or so of spray.

Just started soaking some lavaendar plant parts and in one day the water is rosy red. i like it. thinking it will bust down my problems. That I might have to tear down and chlorine bomb everything, ....lets hope not :peace:

Happy New Years peeps

Abiqua,

try pure kapow 3-way. It is a quality product that is organic. This is what got rid of mites for me. I tried everything else except mighty wash which i heard works too. My cabinet has not had a reinfestation and i treat all my incoming clones with it. Safe to use in flower too.

Is it spidermites you have gotten?
Actually it looks like thrips in the leaf pattern. I soaked lots of dry lavendar bits from a plant I have growing and have been on a rotation with that. [I add a couple drops of nettle and Lactic Acid Bacteria LAB]

New rotations look healthy. I also wiped down my fridgerator cab, as it has all kinds of hiding spots for the little bastards. I blasted it pretty good with chlorine and hydrogen peroxide.

I decided on lavendar soaks, you should look up lemongrass oil or look into growing lemongrass and making oil or fermenting it.

Day 21

Definitely running into problems. Combination of underwatering and probably too many nutes. Just picked up a air pump to start brewing my own AACT teas and started using coconut water too.

Damn near burnt to death the one on the right, but it is coming back and flowering like champ believe it or not. pH of the runoff was almost 7 but there were a noticeable amount of nitrates but the ppm was less than 300 overall. [Just using aquarium strips]

Girl on the left, was doing good but has started to yellow just a bit....I have been watering every 3-4 days, but might speed that up a bit. Added some aerated water with coconut water that has been bubbling for 24hrs.

Any suggestions appreciated. :peace:

Finished another post-Christmas round....pretty good finish after I burnt all the fan leaves off :bigjoint:

Violated the 1st rule and thru a couple of nugs in the dehydrator for hours. Came out heady as shit. Could be a do anything, smoke a lot a pass out strain, smells of strong lemon and fuel, almost like diesel flavored pickles. :peace:

Still struggling with big yields, but they are increasing each time a lil'. Leds are funner....

[P.s time for new camera...the 4mp joint is just not digging the warm white hues...everything looks orangy...alot...apologize, Im fairly color blind to boot.....]

Would you believe that I don't have a scale and never have really had one either. I have been toking for about 20 years [damn..im older....] and never really needed one. I am too giving and too trusting. Karma.

I have only grown for a short time for myself and don't sell, so no nead for a scale really.
I mean peeps from before had scales, so I wasn't that trusting, lol. and now I am just trying to grow enough meds for myself, after the army and blowing out a vertebrae or 3 [No Surgery Though!]

My scale is when my back doesn't hurt each and every day :) But I would still say, that I yielded a pleasant 15-20 grams. Trying to develop a perpetual harvest.

Ciao.
