my bloom box????

here is a raugh picture of my flowering box and i want to know what you guys think
mainly about the light being mounted to the top and the venting do you think i will have to much heat or no

the hole inside of the box will be mylar

its 4 ft long 4ft tall and 3ft deep

anyone???? is the box not tall enough????

would really like to grow some white berry and white russian

but all i have started right now is some Kush, snowryder, and northern lights auto

anyone????????/

Speaking from experience.. I built a 4.5' tall box.. combined with 250w HID.

I found it the height to be less then optimum.. You have to consider the heat put off by the light and the distance you'll need

to keep the light away from the plants. Unless you're just vegging for a short period I'd try to increase the height to 5' minimum.

Better to do it right the first time then twice

I would do 4'-0" minimum! . . . you need to consider the heat issue and the height of your lamp too.

I am a CFL grower myself, but if I'm not mistaken, during research you want 3' +/- between plant tops and light. Correct me if I'm wrong ther, but using those numbers and taking 6" off for thickness of your light and minimum 6" off for the height of your containers. This (3' distance between plants light, 6" for the light, and 6" for containers for a total of 4') leaves you no room to grow. I, as a new grower, think I would want a MINIMUM of 6' in height and then I would LST them. My 2 cents.

thanks for the info i allready have the box built so i think i will use it for veg box then and get a grow tent for flowering
