if you looking for something cheap you can release some lady bugs in there theyll take care of those mites no problem and the eggs they lay

Look around the tops of your pots, gently move the soil from the top around and look closely, it may or may not look like the soil is literally moving. If so, and it looks to be like little white things scurrying around larvae has already beat you to the punch.

Once this happened it may take a little more time and they may be a little stubborn to get out, but give it time and patience and all will be ok.

A simple mixture of water and soap, i use regular ol palmolive, and mix the two in a spray bottle. The water/soap mixture will kill the spider mites on contact yet you have to be fast and willing, lol.

If that doesnt work, mosquito dunks are a good thing to use. Break them up into 1/4 pieces and let them sit in water jugs for 2-3 days so they have a chance to break up. You can them water with the "dunkd" water which will kill the larvae, and do a good job to say the least.

Eventually they will die off. Kill the adults on contact with the spray bottle and the dunks will cure the larvae. Also watch out because there could be some fungus gnats in there as well.

Use blue sticky paper if they are indeed spider mites, yellow sticky paper if fungus gnats.

Hope this helped.

Dont worry brother, I just overcame my first bout of battling mites. My tent was 7 weeks into flower when it happened and within a week they were gone, and my closet is now bug free which has 2 more weeks with the White Widow.

Give it time and give your babies love.

If you have larvae I higly recommend you loook into predatory nematodes they are a microscopic ringworm that feeds on pest larvae i have tried a lot of products only too see them return. Some body above said lady bugs and they will do a good job good too and hey you dont have to spray your plants with chemicals..most good hydro shop or nurseries will sell predatory nematodes.

Go get some Azamax. My buddy had an infestation like 5 or 6 weeks into flower and this stuff killed them. They claim it's safe enough to spray up till the day of harvest. I think he had to spray them like once a week and now he still uses it has a preventive measure, I haven't seen one the last few times I was over there.

I am also dealing with mites at 5 1/2 weeks into flower, Ladybugs do a good job of slowing them down. I put 200 ladybugs in my grow box for my small one plant grow and they have helped, but they haven't STOPPED the mites, only slowed them. I've ordered some Safterbrand EndALL bug spray which should be here at the end of the week. Hopefully I can remove most of the ladybugs and give my plant a light spray to take care of the rest, but well see.

tobacco tea did the trick for me! its super cheap and id say you can do it 3 days until harvest. the smell goes away and all your left with is mite free plants.

I was a skeptic until i tried it! just make sure to spray every 2-3 days and get in every nook and cranny.

Can anyone give the exact recipe for the tabacco tea? I was mite free, catapillar free, and they were very healthy. Tonight, I saw one section of my Black was practically infested. Very few if any on the other girls, but I'm sure they will be there quickly if I don't do anything. I've been using Azatrol until about 2 weeks ago because I was afraid to burn them. I also used Safer Catapillar Killer. The recipe for the tabacco tea would be awesome!
