So this is my almost Evil 665w build

My old light was making my tent too hot So decided to build a better one.

96 feet of 2 foot strips
32 Samsung SI-B8T15156CWW powered by HLG 480H 24B
16 BXEB-L0560Z-35E2000-C-B3 powered by HLG 185H 20B

Keeping the power outside the tent

Frame was made out of the bottom of Garage Door weather stripping found at lowes. My usual metal place went under due to covid
you get 4 x 4 feet aluminum strips in each pack

I cut the 4 feet aluminum strips down to 116cm just under 45 3/4 inches
Held together with 1/4 inch Aluminum Channel used the screws that came with the Garage Door weather stripping to screw it together.

Found DBLl sided thermal tape on Amazon that fit perfect

24mm Bridgelux and 18mm Samsung Strips fit strips perfectly on the heatsinks

Even at full power it's quite cool

Light on it's lowest setting

The bridgelux strips and HLG 185h 20B were left over from an old build .
I pulled the hlg 480h 24b off an over powered veg light replaced it with 2 spare hlg 60W 24A drivers. It was an easy switch as the HLG480h has two outputs.

The Samsung strips were a late night impulse purchase, when arrow was blowing out strips at crazy low prices. I figured it's because of the tariffs added for US based customers.

I purchased 175 of them for less than $80 CND ($55US) inc shipping taxes and duties
Cheers

Ok, CCG, would you be willing to help an electrical idiot? Was looking on that arrow site and daammmnn their led strips are cheap! The drivers look like the most expensive part.
