i just read the first 20 pages. gunna take a break and hit the remaining 8 pages later....in conclusion.....one of the greatest LED threads ive seen & mad props to Irish
I will definitely be using LED on my next grows. which lights i have yet to determine however i will keep in mind the sales tactics LEDgirl has used and most likely refrain from purchasing her lights. in other words let the lights do the talking FYI LEDgirl your posts have made me favor other light brands over yours.
Ill be watching haha

welcome to my thread! thanks for stoping by.
this next grow is going to be a fun one to watch. i wi=ould love to see whos lights do the best. i understand what you are saying about the lights from ledgirl, but at the end that stuff dosent matter! what matters is what lights get us the best yeild. because thats what makes us growers happy. keep an eye out for my next grow starting most likely next week. this will be the real deal no BS and sales tatics here. straight real test and real truth about what these lights can do. this test will detrmen alot of things for me aswell. i am shooting for some of those green crack clones for this grow i am on the look for those girls.

BGP has Space Queen and that looks to be one great strain from a reading recently

I would love to add it to my collection by I have to wait for the current kids to get done

They have at least 10 - 12 different strains when I was there Sunday

yeah i do see where you are coming from but ,if the led is a good model from a reputable company you shouldnt need to do that because the company has already done the science for you in making the spectrum . i think it is like 660nm and 430red or someting like that.science has concluded that these exact colors of light are perfect for the plant to grow through veg and budding ,spending the extra money on an all blue light would be overkill when you can just but another one with the red and blue mixed.maybe if you were rooting clones or trying to get more females out of your seedlings these all blue lights would be handy because the blue light will help with rooting the clones and seeds and light in the blue spectrum is known to produce more females out of your seeds as does low temps and less frequent watering

shaak. i know exactly what you are talking about the led units are able to be placed as close as 4-6 inches away from your plants.they produce no heat and are safe to use that close.put your hand under for a minute and see how it feels, comfortable right?so i came to the conclusion i am having a ph issue and i think you may be too.do you have a picture you can post of what the burn pattern looks like?do a search on seedlings and ph problems and look under the images i was able to find exactly what my young plants where exibiting.i have not corrected the issue yet as im using soil in containers and dont have ph up and ph down just yet
