My 2nd AeroGarden Grow

always always,,start your plants off with 1/4 strength..this comes from roseman.not in exact words,but when a baby is born,it need vitamins in the food just like babiy plants need LIGHT STRENGTH nutes.they need to be fed immediately,they need light nutes at first cause its very important to get em lookin right and forming perfect when they first sprout cause they need the nutes to do so!itll make a hell of alot healthier plant too!

Plants grow fine with just water.

Ferts just make them grow way bigger and branchier.

If you grow a plant with just water its going to be real stringy and wispy.

Jumping into full concentration nutes right when you start fert is never a good idea, you always step it up in slow increments to find what the plants nutrient tolerance level is.

I am in quite a predicament right now, I have one plant that can take ec 1.9 of nutes and the other one can only take about 1.2 in the same container, needless to say the 1.2 ec plant is a runt.

How perfect the plants start out is in no way indicative of the final product, example, nute burned plants that end up being champion oz+ plants, or clones that start out real nice and healthy that someone fucks up and neglects. Both of these can make a full recovery, as long as problems are addressed in VEG the plant should have no problems in flowering. If you get made nute burn late into flowering you are fucked, thats why its good to get the hiccups out of your systems in veg.

Healthy plant at the end of veg = healthy plant in flower.

Has anyone heard anything else about this. My plants did look a little scragily at first but seem to be greening up just fine.. after I added the 1/2 nute tab....


Any hoot... plants are lookin good. I just started the veggin cycle yesterday and added the additional CFL's....


I have a bigger issue right now though..... Its gettin freakin HOT in my closet... It was never an issue before (I Think) because It was cold outside.... we just had a heat wave and it was 90 today!!!.. i CHECKED THE CLOSE WHEN i GOT HOME.. IT WAS fuckin 90 DEGREES IN THERE!!! WITH THE FAN BLOWIN!!! ANY SUGGESTIONS FROM ANYONE?????

I didn't add any nutes for the first 5 days, and they seemed to grow just fine. I'm sure that growing them with nutes from the beginning would probably be good.

LOL... HOLY SHIT i CANT BELIEVE THEY ACTUALLY HAVE MINI AC'S.... i MIGHT JUST THROW THE A/C IN THE ROOM WINDOW AND LEAVE THE CLOSET DOOR SLIGHTLY OPEN... HMMMM

yEAH... WHO THE FUCK KNOWS..... MAYBE NEXT TIME I WILL ADD NUTES RIGHT AWAY.. MY PLANTS HAVE BEEN KINDA YELLOW FROM THE GET GO THIS GROW SO MAYBE THEY COULD HAVE U SOME NUTES...



ONLY TRIAL AND ERROR WILL BE THE TRU TEST.........

aerogarden is great if you wanna waste money like that..a 5 gallon bucket and a spag.strainer work just the same way...
but hope this time around works for ya..heres mine at 6weeks veg.
and no this one isnt sick,i bend the shit outta the fan leaves to get them outta the way for the newgrowth..along with the main stem and everything else..this one just switched to flower

Just because you can keep a plant alive with some medium doesn't mean its good.

Your pasta grow-bucket setup doesn't have a drip feed system or lights.

Here's a pic of my plant in my AG 3 days ago when I switched it to flower. That's just one plant.

It's all the way against the sides and a couple inches taller today. About 2 feet wide by 1 foot tall.

So all these doubters on the AeroGarden? seems to me your plant grew accordingly!! Definition of a COCK BLOCK on the plant, but i'm pretty impressed with the results i'm looking into a AeroGarden myself the 200 edition or whatever? Purchasing the Feminized Seeds off the trusty internet.. we'll see how that goes! I want to try growing just one plant PERSONAL USE i don't plan to distribute maybe thats why there is a lot of haters on this system because you can only grow 2-4 plants or so.. well any advice for me?

Question for ya, Alex....is that mylar you put on top of the ag resevoir??? You may have said, but I missed it even when I went back and read the post. It looks nice and effective!!
