My 2011 winter grow, so far

Yeah man it will shrink quite a bit. I usually aim for the average yield, about a lb per 1k watt. Anything over that I'm happy. Lately my average is about 17-20 oz of dry, cured bud per light. Pretty happy with that considering all my nutes are 100% vegan organic and my medium is soil. I can't wait to try coco. :) my buddies in Cali are giving me great feedback. This grow I am currently in, I am running 17 from clone and 5 the "normal" way I do it. Hoping to pull at least 40...that's only 1.82'oz per plant. Might not seem like a lot but to pull an oz-2 from clone has been pretty challenging. Like beaver said, don't get discouraged. It all gets better with experience. Plus to me, the more you fail, the more you learn. Knowledge is power my friends :)
Yeah dude its all about experience I personally feel that it takes 3-5 harvests under your belt before you actually get real good. Lots of 1st time growers out there peddling their stuff.

Do you use CO2 in your grow?
No I don't. At least in my personal grow. Too much to worry about at home. :) but at our patients spot yes and no. We get lazy so sometimes we never run it but then other grows we seem to be on top of it. I am with beaver though. It doesn't seem to ever effect my yields but I can attest to it making it frosty. But on another note I feel my grows are of top quality just because of the environment I provide. Temps, humidity and air flow, IMO, are much more important then providing it c02. Like I said, I didn't see my plants benefit as much as people say when supplying it 1200-1500ppm of c02 throughout flower as opposed to not doing it. With the cost and hassle of always having to fill up the tanks, right now, I don't have the time nor the energy to run it at my house as well as my patients grow.

I know it shrinks, and this is my 5 grow, just my first time with 2 1000 watt lights. I was saying 47 grams off that puny thing was outstanding! I also set my goal at a pound per light but when I look at the garden, it doesn't seem like it will equal 2 pounds when I cut and dry it. But this morning was encouraging. And no I don't use co2 because I vent to my attic with an 8 inch fan so I figured it wouldn't do much. I might try the exhale bags someday, but it was interesting to hear your experiences with co2

Bird, what are you using? Teas, bio canna? I want to move to organic for obvious reasons but also this H and G is cut up into so many different pieces. What a pain. Add this starting week four, then this once in week five, then start adding this three weeks before the end of flower holy shit! If you're running 8 wk strains and 10 and 12 week strains all at once like I am then it's a mess. I want to use super soil but I don't have 2 months to wait for it to cook so I was thinking about bio canna cause it veganic and much simpler

I use bio canna. I get perlite, kelp meal, EWC and coco fiber mix that all to make my soil. Every 2 weeks or so I usually give my girls some tea. I pretty much mix in my brewer what it in my soil with a few other things like hygrozyme and that's it. Bio canna is great but expensive. Like $200-500 each grow depending on numbers of plants. It gets pricey but it makes up for it. I hate saying this, but you get what you pay for :)

I use H&G and you really add the same stuff throughout the whole grow just in flower all you add is top booster & shooting powder

Yeah it's really just those two that irritate me. Bud xl week 4 for 8 week strains , but week 5 for 10 week strains
Then 2.6 g/gal of shooting powder for one week then 5.2g/ gal for the last 2!

The measurements I can handle, it's the strains I'm running cause I feed them all the same on a custom 9 week schedule so some plants get it when they should, and some are getting it early. It's a fu***n headache. Everything would be fine if I only had 1 strain going, now I know. Honestly I'm glad this run is almost done because I need to modify a few things.

Hey everyone, I tried to start an album in my profile but couldn't add pics, so i'll do it here. Mostly og kush, some blue dream, bubba kush and 2 mystery strains all in roots organics. Also 2 bubba kush and a purple strain in dwc buckets. recently upgraded from a 400 watt to 2 1000 watt lights. This is my first grow under my new lights. Currently week 3 into flower(18 days), i will reduce the number of indoor after this grow and setup a locked greenhouse. hope you like:leaf:

Well you can make fpe for literally nothing however that being said biocanna is a great product. Are you doing teas that aren't veganic though?

No man I only mix teas that are veganic. I believe I said in an earlier post but I add kelp meal, EWC, hygrozyme, Mayan and some black strap. Usually let them brew for at least 24 hours. My tea isn't super strong and I usually only give the girls 2 feedings throughout flower with my tea. But with the proper timing and perfect supplements, you will see a blowout in growth. My plants love their tea and m curious to do a run with only brewing teas. It might hurt my yield but it should make up in flavor and overall costs. Biocanna is an amazing product and so far can't say anything compares, but if you can't afford it don't sweat it! Teas do amazing things to my plants you just need to personally find what your plants prefer. With a few harvests you should be able to dial it in.
