Everything looks great. I got a Wappa seed for free from the tude along with Acid and Nebula. I popped the Neb but you got me wanting to pop the Wappa seed now. How was the smoke?
Thats EXACTLY how I found out about Wappa... I got a free seed, planted it, and it turned out to be a BEAUTY of my growroom... I popped her in during another grow and she was NICE. The smoke was very good I would say. Pleasant, uplifting, and had a very Fruity Smell. I can't wait to get her to look like the 1st pic I posted on the 1st thread. I REALLY can't wait the next 6 weeks I WANT IT NOW lol... I will keep you all posted as they mature!

I have been watering them with 1/2 the recommended dosage. I sure don't wanna burn my babies! Also on the transplanting issue...

I was thinking of doing it the next time the soil is try which should be a few days (Sunday I am thinking). Do you think this is a good time to change them?

Also I have read with FoxFarm Ocean Forest that I should just water with straight water for a few days after transplanting to avoid nute burn from the nutes already in the soil is this True?

You won't need any nutes until you start flowering if you're using FFOF. You'll risk burning your plants and slowing progress. That's why the FFOF is 18 bucks a bag, so you don't have to spend the money on nutrients. Don't mix it, you're wasting your money and causing yourself more work. You could use Pro Mix instead, and get more soil for the money and have complete control over your nutrients. I look at FFOF as the soil with training wheels, since you don't have to do anything but water it, but you have no control over the nutrients being released. However, Fox Farms has it pretty much down to a gnats hiney with their mix. It's really easy to use, just don't germinate with it, it's too hot. With Pro Mix you're pedaling on your own. It's has little inherent nutrients, and you control how much nutrient you use. It's cheaper too, but also more dangerous if you're prone to over-tending your plants, or just new at it. Never go by the labels on nutrients. They want to sell more nutrients, so they tell you to use this massive dose every other watering. Some plants in a CO2 environment could handle it, but most will become over-nuted and either die or cause a major slow down, or go hermie on you. Start with about 1/4 strength, because you can always increase it the next time. As for using Sweet and Microbe Brew, quit wasting your money. Use non-sulfered, light flavored black strap molasses (Brer Rabbit brand is about 2.40 a pint), 2 teaspoons per gallon of water instead, every other feeding. Molasses feeds the microbes in the soil which allows them to more efficiently transfer nutrients to the plants. Sweet is just corn syrup, which does nothing but feed the bottom line of the nutrient company.

Interesting... I mix the FFOF with Light warrior to help me out in the germ process... I sure have learned the hard way about there being nutrients ALREADY in the soil LOL. I THINK i might have a good technique going on with it now... Hopefully it doesnt cause me any problems in the future. The Micro Brew I always wondered what the hell it was ... I figured it would be GREAT for the plants... I guess I was wrong!...A friend gave me the left over of his AN "Bud Candy" so I will do a side by side comparison with the Sweet... I just might go get some molasses to do a side by side by side... since I have 3... I am curious on this same matter... Thanks for the info though... Will Note it in the Brain!

Hi there,

just joined the forum to speak to you. I am about a week or so away from harvesting a wappa crop. Just wondering if i could get your thoughts on the plants. These were taken about a week ago, will take some better pictures tonight when the lights come on.

Just wanting to know what you think about bud color, and what signs to look for in wappa to know its ready to be cut down.

Also how the tricholme color relates to the high. What have you experienced off wappa.

Sorry for all the questions, just i'm finding it hard to get good info about this strain.

Cheers x

just wondering how to choose a harvest time to match a type of high. We want a more heady energy high rather than a couch ridden mess of a high!

Wappa is a very good smoke... Paradise seeds says its roughly 55-60 days of flowering. The other time I harvested Wappa besides this one I checked the Tri's and I pulled them when they were frosty white... People have told me not to let it get the Amber color because it takes away from the energetic high... From what I can see of your plants they look nice and have BIG colas... I usually know its about time because the hairs SLOWLY turn and some you see are Amber... then I check the Tris if they frosty its time... But make sure it gets at least 8 weeks i feel to be the DENSE HEAVY buds... any time before that you may risk your weight but the smoke will be good after 7 (the last plant i picked was early)

I've been growing this strain for almost a year now. Great fucking strain. Got a freebie with my order. Decided to keep it in the rotation. I cut it down at about 8wks for more of a "head" high. The key to enjoying this strain is to get a handle on dosage. Too much and your obliterated. Best to take in small bong hits. Blunts or large joints are guaranteed to couchlock you.

hell yeah, i just finished reading this whole thread in one sitting, and let me say that seeing them from little itty bitty seedlings to the PHAT sexy bitches they are now ,is pretty magical ! ! ! props.

I got a free wappa seed from attitude and still have yet to grow it..its definitely higher on my list after seeing the colas haha
