My 1st, My cheap, My random grow!

Hello everyone, I am new to the forums and relatively new to growing. I have been doing a lot of research and have decided to try to grow these 3 bubblegum seedlings.

Funny, because these randomly sprouted after we tossed these seeds inside a plant we bought from Ralphs. Me and my roomate went on winter break and the plant died so we decided to grow pot in it haha. Anyways, I will try to keep everyone updated on the status and what not and hopefully you can all offer me advice on how to maintain this in the cheapest fashion. Right now its running under 2 desk lamps(we can seriously afford probably like $100 worth of shit the entire grow!!!!)

Anyways, we arent looking for anyhting industrial, just 1 or 2 good harvests HOPEFULLY before the end of may.

Also, In the corner of my closet, I got a fan oscillating on the lowest speed. We give the plant water every other day, its about 1.5-2 weeks old and is currently under 24/0.

THanks guys and hopefully your advice, and my growing will lead another stoner to live a happier life

I bought some fertilizer and moved the lights a little closer, i also put a fan in the corner oscillating on low to get some air movement, but its not looking good guys. I dont feel confident in the strength of my plants. The stems look to weak and im worried that we planted the seeds to close to each other. Moving them to seperate pots is feasible but my light setup is also pretty ghetto. This may or may not turn out well. I will post pictures tonight so you all can look at the stems and give me some feedback

I see the stems in the first pic, and they look pretty thin...it looks like U had a fan to start off with, but the lights were way too far away..if Ur using CFL's (curly bulbs) keep it like 3-4 inches from the top of those plants, If you're using the Fluoro tubes keep them like an inch away from the plants, if Ur using an incandescent light bulb, take it off and get a CFL....

but Things look good so far, if things keep stretching this way you may need to prop the plants up just until it develops a stronger stem..but dont worry, mother nature has a way of taking care of her babies..

cant wait to see some pix, I'll be watching...

If one is a male and the other female, the female could become fertilized due to proximity to the male. I would separate them, if I were you.

You won't be able to start sexing until you put them on a 12/12 cycle. If you are in a rush to flower these plants by June then I suggest that you put them on the cycle by at most April 1. That way you will have some extra flowering time if you need it. Get those plants as bushy as possible. LIGHTS EVERYWHERE and lots of it!! Make a grow box (even out of carboard if you need to) and cover with mylar if $$$ will be a problem. Good luck.

Yeah for sure. I bought a timer to switch the plants onto 12/12. I am also planning on moving them into different pots. I dont know what u mean by at most April 1st. As in the latest day or the earlier day? About the lights: I am planning on buying a cfl and maybe moving another light into my closet.

As for the grow box, what should the design look like? Anything to keep in mind when constructing it? Also, I dont know what Mylar is so...

Pictures to come as soon as i can get a camera picture!!

Also, you shold all know that I went to the local hydroponic store and bought some "Earthcrew Inc, organic super hume" 17% humic acid, 4% humic, 13% fluvic, derived from quality leonardite shale. If anybody knows what that means. The guy at the store(who im almost sure knew i wasnt growing "tomatoes" ;)" highly recommended me using it... he said it works for all 3 stages!!

anyways all comments welcome!!

well we moved the plants to a secure location and each is in its own pot... we are growen them in perlite and are using, the same lights except i added these new light saving bulbs I found at right aid(They are the curly ones). ALso we put another lamp into the room so now we got 2 desk lamps and a stand up lamp and we put cfls in that one. the fan is still going and I will post an updated pic asap. Unfortunately, a few of the leaves burned from the heat emition from the incadesecent bulb we were using(stupid mistake). anyways we backed the lights off a little but I'm afraid they still arent getting enough lumens... i will show pics asap
