For starters, my closet is inside of another closet... cool huh? As you can see Im at 79 degrees and 30% humidity.

list of supplies:

pH kit

Dyna grow, liquid grow along with tons of the standard Aerogarden nutrient packages.

Vick's dehumidifier. (iffy about it. would their be a better product for humidity control?)

my little heater

digital thermometer/ humidity thing

Aerogarden for growing (I will definitely be buying another one of these, this sprout was near death as it fell down a crack in my wood floor, and was saved by the Aerogarden.)

60 to 100 gallon air pump (2 valve) with 2 air stones.

Lights:
x1 24' 26 watt fluorescent

2 standard aerogarden (CFL's I believe)

and my two 48' 45 watt fluorescents for when the plants out grow the height of the Aerogarden lights.

Seeds:
The one baby thats starting is an unknown seed, I got from a friend. I also ordered x10 Nirvana Master Kush seeds coming within the next 3 days.

I bought an emilys garden 6 pot hydro setup and im just waiting to put the babies in it.

Help me out and give me feedback? :leaf::bigjoint:

sweet, I would flower your plant at 6 inches or less, so it can double in size and still fit. If your planning to remove the hood, then you can go slightly longer. One gallon is the space you have to work with so keep that in mind. it should be fine for one plant.

Ive grown tomatoes, peppers and flowers in my aerogardens for almost three years now.

Ill probably start 3 there and then move them to DWC or hempy buckets.
I have Fox Farms Big Bloom nute, and your saying I should start initiating flowering at 6 inches??

some do once a week, some do once a month and some just change it when they change nutrients from veg to flower. it all depends on what you think is best. For my grows, I change the res once at flowering. Im lazy and the girls drink up the water so fast anyways.

so far all the reviews say a high yield, and extremely easy to grow, medium to small height with potent smoke. plus i just bought an oz some boston master Kush and it sealed the deal. ive also stopped using the heater, because it drys the air too much and the natural temp of my grow room is 77 which is close to perfect

well my line of work is along these lines so no im not broke. ive read that hps is only good for blooming and that HID or mh are the way to go.

Most buy a hps because thats when you need the most light is during flower is why i suggested it. You can veg with MH

i'd seriously sack the aerogarden off, our local store has stopped selling them, over-rated, unstable sized res, tiny plants only. Id be going big and get your 6 pot system going;)
600w ballast with mh and hps bulbs would be the way forward if heat no an issue

I've been eyeing that one myself. I just havent decided if i want a cool tube or not.
If you go for it, please let us know how you like it.

i think that will be my choice all the reviews are good plus im in need of a big light for my emliys garden im buying today ( 6 pod hydroponic setup) which ill put the master kush into, which should arrive today. 250 Watts woul comver 2x2 so 400 will cover more then i need, so it seems perfect.

ah those aeros can be used fine to start plants, but ya move them to a bigger system with a 400 watt HID. you said your humidity is at 30 % ? if that is the case you should try and get it up between 50-60 for veg and 40-50 for flower you will see the difference in daily growth (if you have anything growing now ) :)
