My 1st grow, indoor 400w

Hey everybody, this grow has been going on since the beginning of November. I have a Northern lights clone and a White widow clone. I have never cloned before but read up on it quite a bit before doing it, I took the clones from a friends grow and ended up successfully cloning these with some powder rooting hormone on my first try. I started them on some cfl's with the intention of doing a full cfl grow, but then realized I would probably be disappointed with the results so I got myself a Hydrofarm 400 watt HPS system, with an eye hortilux super HPS bulb. As for nutes, I picked up some AN 3 part: grow, micro, bloom. Fast forward, I am now on day 12 of flower. The pics are from start to current. As you will see, I re-potted the plants. :peace:

Also, I topped them both a few times during veg, and I've been doing some LST throughout the entire grow.

Really, you've done a great job, I'm sure your flowers will be as good as they get. One question: Is the first picture right after you took your cutting, or had they been growing for a while?

Yeah, I had them in plastic cups before that. The first pictures are when they really started to veg after being cloned.

Grower1, I meant to write in here that it's my 1st indoor grow. I did an outdoor last summer that turned out great. Technically, this is my second grow.

Dude those look great! I am on my 3rd grow and have been doing some super cropping combined with LST to promote the lower growth and have had great success with it so far. I Super cropped the one on the left below, but not the one on the right. Same strain, enough said, but I will say more. I usually top my plants mid veg and then super crop the two main shoots once sex is determined. The results have been about 5-9 tops per plant with about the same size, naturally the crown buds are a little larger.

I have found that certain strains do not respond well to super cropping but may have found the cure. I have been using Silica Blast this grow and the plant tissue is much tougher than the previous grows, tough like trees. They have taken everything I've thrown at them so far and lower growth is taking off, see 2nd/3rd photos. Good luck!

Thanks man! Your girls look great too! Mine became little bushes, I tried to keep all the colas the same height for better light distribution. I hope they turn out ok. I've already cloned both girls also, might do a SCROG next grow.

You don't have to remove them but when you post, there should be a little picture frame tab that says "insert image" at the top of the reply box.

I started adding a teaspoon of unsulfured black strap molasses per gallon of water for my plants, I water them every 48 hours but I'm only doing the molasses once a week. Anyone have good results with this? Also, is a teaspoon in a gallon once a week good or would it be OK every time? My plants drink a half gallon each per watering. So far I haven't noticed any positive of negatives from using it.

Convict, I know it isn't to much because the plants aren't reacting positively or negatively at all and I've been adding the molasses for 2 weeks. I want to know if the molasses dose should be brought up or not. Anyways, happy growing everyone, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!

i looked and looked every post i found said to use 1 tablespoon/gal. happy new year, yours looks like its gonna be funky

Yeah I have used up to 2 Tbsp per gallon with no ill effect. But, I have discovered a new product called "Hi-Brix" which is molasses for plants. It's super condensed and the bottle recommends only using it once a month. If you have created a microbe sub culture in your root ball then more molasses will be needed, if your using the subculture which is naturally created in soil then you will need less, IMO. Looking good by the way!
