So I hope I grabbed some attention in my attempt to clone an unknown bag seed strain. So its been about a week give or take since I've cut clones 3 approx .. so I've been reading that the roots take when yellowing of lower starts and you can transplant.. well while leaves have yellowed they are wilted like gangsta leaning for days but are still green and healthy looking need help ..

Did you use any cloning gel? What sort of medium are you using and lights and all that good stuff give a few more details.

You should have the clone at least 2 or 3 feet from your fluorescent lights. The soil should not be soaking wet it should be medium wet. The soil should dry a good amount before you wet it again. You should mist the plants at least once per day when using a humidity dome. You should spray the inside of your humidity dome several times per day when relative humidity is low, there should always be water droplets on your dome. I have better luck using domes with a vent in them.

When cloning you don't want to give to much light because the roots grow during dark mostly! And should have very high humidity always spraying leaves because that's how they be water with no roots... Also rapid rooters help I once started some off in water bottles I cut in half actually worked well.. Try switching to 12/12 and using a root growth promoter supethrive or something good luck mate!

Yeah sorry to hit you with bad news but they dead. A lot of people have issues when first cloning so just cut some more and try again, it's all you can do now.

Don't keep clones under 12/12 lmao. That's unless you'd rather grow a bowl on a twig... Honestly these don't look good once a clones stems limp up its pretty much over...

Why would you suggest a 12/12? That's a terrible idea.

lol if those things are homies leaning then then they must have been involved in a drive by shooting, cause those things are DEAD man. throw those things out and try again....this time don't kill em.

Well maybe not 12/12 but at least 16/8 because from experience they don't do so well under 24hr light they'll wither away real quick but its waaht eves I know after it takes root I reveg it before it flowers

Depends on the light I have an led I used for my 150gal reef tank I can dim it down and my clones sit under it 24 hrs a day. You can pick them up cheap an use 3 watt epistar cobs. Funny I bought it several years before that was a thing lol

Just cut clone and put it into water is that easiest way?? Ita only been in for a 17 hours .. is this best route for cloning I just killed 3 lol I'm going for 25%

I have always used cloning powder and peat pucks. 24hr light with a dome and heat mat for reptile tanks. Very rarely had any of them die. If you use the peat pucks just make sure to cut the netting off as soon as you see roots.

I clone two ways and both organically.. 1. Make a cheap bubbler using a tub from a dollar store and a fish tank pump from aliexpress that cost $6. Black out the bottom or buy an opaque container. Run at 15mins on 15mins off for the pump to keep temps below 23celcius.
Use distilled water and change every 3 days. Use plastic pint glasses as domes and spray inside daily to keep humidity up..I always see roots in about 2weeks.

2. I use soil & perlite. But first make willow water which naturally contain salicylic acid from the willow tree which is a rooting hormone. Anyone who knows willows know they spread very easily by self cloning.
I use the yellow tips to make the tea and take all the leaves off..cut into 1inch segments and steep in warm water for 2 hours. Drain the pieces and bottle the tea. Put the cuttings in a glass of the tea over night.
Then take honey and ground cinnamon both natural anti fungal and anti microbial, and mix them.
Take the cuttings dip them in the mixture at the cut ends and put the into the soil/perlite mix then water in with willow tea. Cover with a dome or bag and cuttings generally root in two weeks :)
