hey guys,
any of you guys use Guitar Pro to learn, play , and write guitar stuff? i have it on my desktop , but i just got a new laptop, which is a macbook pro and i'm having problems loading Guitar pro onto it
i download torrents of the program and run it, worked fine before
but this time everytime it starts up it closes down right away...
i downloaded the "mac" version.. any tips?

also, for those of you interested i would definately suggest using this program. downloading tabs takes mere seconds and shows tab, notes and will even play it for you.

I tried it before, but I don't bother. Tabs works fine for me. Granted I'm no longer learning...

As for the torrent, it's probably a bad torrent. Make sure the version is compatible with your OS version. If it still doesn't work. Download the trial from the companies website, then torrent a program called "LittleSnitch". When the program tries to connect to "homebase" and check if your version is legit, tell LittleSnitch to block it.

More times than not "several torrents" is just the same one recycled on different trackers, or recycled so someone can take credit for it (or stolen to boost their torrent ratios).

sidenote: the littlesnitch trick doesn't always work, depends on the companies anti-piracy techniques.
